PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: New State does everything that the original PUBG did and more. It has a lot of returning weapons, a brand new setting, and almost identical gameplay. Some people might get put off by how similar this game is to the original PUBG Mobile, but it still does enough to justify itself as a good spin-off. Let's take a look at the best weapons PUBG: New State brings to the table.

10 M24

The M24 is easily the go-to sniper in PUBG: New State, and there are various reasons for that. The number one reason for that is its ability to take out targets from vantage points silently. This gun comes with multiple attachments, but the best has to be the suppressor that enables anyone to be a silent predator.

The perfect aim of this weapon is all thanks to the decent recoil, which becomes deadly in combination with its 88 damage rate. The library of attachments for this weapon has consisted of multiple scopes, various magazines, and quite a few muzzle upgrades.

9 AKM

Originally, AKM came from 1959, so it's quite an old one. However, just because it's an old design doesn't make it any less powerful. This weapon was supposed to be a replacement for AK-47, and looking at this list, it is clear why. AKM uses .762mm ammunition and is great for mid-range combat.

Players using this one will have to deal with the recoil, but they can convert this gun to a high fire rate monster with a few good attachments. AKM supports a variety of silencers, magazines, and scope attachments, making it a flexible gun to use from different distances.

8 M416

Before talking about M416, we have to talk about its real-life counterpart, Heckler & Koch HK416. In-game or in the real world, this gun is one of the most tactical assault rifles available right now. To the people who aren't easily satisfied with AKM, M416 does the job perfectly.

The top benefits of using this gun are ease of use, mild recoil, and overall rapid firing speed. Apart from the long-range, players can correctly use this weapon in close or mid encounters to obliterate the enemies. M416 comes with five attachment points, which means players can add scopes, magazines, stock, and muzzles to it.

7 Beryl M762

Beryl M762, also known as the karabinek szturmowy wzór 1996 Beryl is as perfect as assault rifles can get in PUBG. When it comes to this gun, it's a deadly mix between the versatility of AKM and the sheer firing rate of Gorza. M762 has quite a few variants in real life, and it seems the best one is in PUBG.

The only downside of using this gun is the ridiculous kickback, which is understandable considering its rate of fire. However, players can minimize the recoil by using many attachments and adding a medium-long range scope.

6 Grenade Launcher

If every player in PUBG gets a Grenade Launcher, the whole game won't last a few minutes. The reason for this is the ridiculous power of this weapon and its ability to take down vehicles. This weapon right here isn't just a gun. It's heavy artillery.

Some people might feel this weapon makes the game a bit like Call of Duty because of its one-shot nature. However, what else are people expecting from a gun like Grenade Launcher? Luckily, this weapon is not easily available across the map like the handguns, balancing everything.

5 AWM

PUBG-New-State-AWM

While AWM might sound like the long-lost brother of AKM, it's not. This gun is far from being an assault rifle. AWM, also known as Arctic Warfare Magnum, is a deadly bolt-action sniper rifle that can take targets down in a blink.

Being a bolt-action rifle, AWM is a little slow, which is its only downside. But apart from that, it's one of the deadliest snipers in the game. It can take down the best of armors in a single shot from a far distance. Fortunately, not everyone can acquire this gun, as it is a part of in-game airdrops.

4 Crossbow

At first glance, people will either hate the Crossbow or love it. There's no in-between. The reason for this is how tricky this weapon is to use in PUBG: New State. But the players who do manage to use this weapon right can take one shot kills almost every time in short to medium range combat.

This weapon also comes with a few attachments like different scopes, but they do not affect the playstyle of this weapon. A crossbow can cause extreme stress in close-up enemy encounters, especially if they are carrying guns. But if used right, it can make the player feel like a true predator.

3 Vector

PUBG-New-State-Vector-1

This one has been a classic since the original PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, and it still is in PUBG: New State. Vector has countless use cases, a rapid-fire rate, and has a huge attachment library. It is undoubtedly the best submachine gun in PUBG, and the biggest reason for that is its reliability in tight situations.

This weapon is like an SMG on steroids, as it can quite literally maul enemies in close-up combat. It's a great gift for campers as well who want to surprise the enemies from behind.

2 S12K

Shotguns can be tricky to use in PUBG, but once perfected, they become downright overpowered. Especially S12K, which can quite literally one-shot people from medium range, killing them instantly.

The one big advantage S12K has is its attachment-friendly nature and semi-automatic design. This shotgun is the best weapon to use in Team vs. Team and a great asset in regular battle royale mode.

1 Groza

PUBG-New-State-Groza-1

Even the worst player in the world will be able to take kills with Gorza. That's how overpowered it is. Gorza, also known as the Thunderstorm, was invented in Russia in 1992 and has since been a cult classic weapon. This weapon is a Bullpup assault rifle and has a crazy rate-of-fire to damage ratio.

Gorza isn't just overpowered due to its strength but is also is super easy to use. The only disadvantage of this weapon could be its reload speed, but it isn't. The reason for that is the fact that players can quite literally 1v4 the close-up encounters before they'll ever need to reload.

PUBG: New State was released on November 11, 2021, and is available on Android, and iOS.
