One thing that PUBG Mobile gives to its fans is options. Players have a lot of different modes to play, but one of the all-time favorites is the classic mode. In classic mode, the objective is to parachute down into a map of choice and face a certain number of enemies, which depends on the map.

Smaller maps in PUBG Mobile have smaller enemies, and this leads to faster gameplay that relies less on strategy. For larger maps, the gameplay can be intense at the beginning or calm, depending on what spot players land. However, things eventually settle down depending on whether players choose to play actively or passively.

7 Karakin

Karakin is one of the more recent maps to appear in PUBG Mobile. This map is a 2x2km map, making it one of the smaller map sizes available. It allows for a total of 64 players in a match. It was initially thought to be a temporary replacement for Vikendi. Vikendi has now been brought back to the game, and Karakin is still available to all.

Karakin is a desert-type map with vast amounts of open space for fights. Its addition has brought a lot of new stuff, including buildings that can be destroyed, sticky bombs, and parts of the map that go underground. This exciting addition has seen its fair share of time in the spotlight.

6 Nusa

Nusa is the newest map in PUBG Mobile. It is also the smallest map, measuring just 1x1km in size. This is why it only allows for 32 players at the start of the match. Players still have a chance to leave a match with high kills, though, since they are respawned as long as they are eliminated within a certain time frame.

This is the fastest map in terms of gameplay as well. A typical match can be around 5-7 minutes. Nusa is a high-tech map with many modern areas and centers to be explored. It is clearly for players of futuristic games like cyberpunk. It is really fun to play, and the size ensures that gamers are in and out before they know it.

5 Vikendi

Vikendi is a snow-covered map that simulates the cold really well and could be perfect for snowboarding. 100 players drop into the 6x6km map and battle in the frozen tundras to see who comes out on top at the end. Vikendi has numerous vehicles and air drops, ensuring that gamers are always on the move.

Vikendi is also known as the home of SMGs, as almost any SMG can be picked up on the map since they spawn in abundance. So, gamers have to watch out for enemies who are very ready for close-quarter combat.

4 Miramar

The deserts of Miramar are not for the faint of heart. Players could move around in vast openness for hundreds of kilometers. This map is 8x8km, just like Erangel, yet it is often regarded as the biggest map in the game. There are a lot of late-game fights in Miramar since the 100 players that enter this map can comfortably loot without bumping into each other too much.

Miramar is a difficult map to win, as there aren't as many buildings and areas for cover like other maps. This is a map for veterans of PUBG Mobile to dominate.

3 Sanhok

Sanhok and the snakes! Sanhok is mainly known for its tall grasses that have the ability to hide opponents really well. This makes the late game thrilling since enemies can literally pop out of nowhere. This map is 4x4km, but it allows for 100 players to drop in.

One of the advantages of Sanhok is the high amount of loot on the map. Sanhok seems filled to the brim with good gear, weapons, and utilities, even without care packages. Most players who make it to the end of the match are often completely decked in gear and have their best weapons in hand.

2 Livik

This 2x2 map promised 15 minutes of gameplay, and it delivered on that promise. Livik consists of 52 players battling it out for a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Livik can be best described as a combination of all the large maps. From the snowy areas of Vikendi, the lush grass of Sanhok and the desert plains of Miramar to the building structure of Erangel. All of them are rolled up into this one map.

1 Erangel

This is the original PUBG Mobile map, and it has stood as a testament to the game's longevity. Even after four years, Erangel is still one of the best maps to play on. Its size is one of the largest available at 8x8km. This means that gameplay ranges from around 25-35 minutes, depending on the zones and the endgame.

Erangel is a favorite among competitive players and is the most-played map in PUBG Mobile tournaments. Some fan-favorite areas are Pochinki, School, and Military Base. Erangel 2.0 is the map's current state and this has brought a bunch of improvements to many places, further ensuring great gameplay.

PUBG Mobile is available on Android and iOS.
