As of late, the team behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been doing its best to ensure the successful Battle Royale title is thriving across all of its platforms, with Bluehole Studio bringing the Sanhok map to Xbox One incredibly soon. In an additional bid to keep players engaged with PUBG, the developer has decided to bring back the fan-favorite limited-time event known as Ghillie Crossing.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds fans looking to jump back into the event or experience it for the first time can do so right now, as Ghillie Crossing just recently went live. Of course, as is the case with any limited-time event, Ghillie Crossing will be taken out of rotation starting on September 2, 2018 at 7:00 PM PDT.

For those unaware of how Ghillie Crossing operates, the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds event restricts gear to crossbows, melee weapons, and throwables except for grenades. What's more is that ghillie suits will spawn alongside normal gear in order to incentivize players to take more stealth-based approaches when it comes to combat. A full rundown of what one can expect from Ghille Crossing can be found directly below:

AVAILABLE QUEUES

4-man squads on Erangel (All Regions)

NA/EU/AS: TPP & FPP

KR/JP/SEA/OC/SA: TPP

RULES

  • World spawn weapons include only crossbows, melee weapons, and throwable weapons with the exception of grenades.
  • Ghillie Suits spawn alongside other world loot.
  • No vehicles spawn.
  • Blue zone damage increases exponentially as the endgame approaches.
  • Because there are no vehicles, the first safe zone always forms around the center of the map, then shrinks randomly as normal.

OTHER EVENT RULES

  • 4-person squads only. Auto-matching can be On/Off
  • Weather is Sunny
  • Red zones are disabled
  • Care packages are disabled
  • Killer Spectating is enabled
  • Friendly fire is disabled

While the reintroduction of Ghillie Crossing to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds should please fans, those very same players would likely be quick to admit that the Battle Royale title still needs to be refined a bit more. PUBG Corp. definitely seems well aware of this issue, as the company recently introduced a website solely dedicated to fixing PUBG. Of course, until the studio provides more details about which new fixes are on the way, players at least have Ghillie Crossing to make the wait more bearable.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now for Android, iOS, PC, and Xbox One.
