Since it was released, PUBG has presented players with the opportunity to play a different, more intense battle royale game. There are many gameplay details that make PUBG fun and challenging, including the ability to players to find Care Packages. Care Packages include powerful items and gear that can help players become the sole survivors of the PUBG battleground.

PUBG's large maps, varied gear, and unique situations have allowed it to become massively popular in an already popular genre. And, now that PUBG is officially free on mobile, there will be even more players competing in the groundbreaking title. PUBG pits players against players to find the last one(s) standing, and while there are weapons and armor scattered around the map, Care Packages drop randomly and offer items to players that are incredibly powerful and can help them eliminate others with ease.

How to Get Care Packages

Care Packages drop from planes, just like how players themselves enter the map. They include some of PUBG's powerful and new weapons, and help players curate a deadly arsenal that can obliterate enemies. Care Packages drop at random across the map, and can be heard as they are inbound. When they drop, they emit red smoke for a few minutes to ensure that they are seen by players. Each package has different gear, all of which can be extraordinarily valuable to PUBG players.

In addition to helpful armor and ammunition, Care Packages also hold weapons that players won't be able to find anywhere else. The AWM, Groza, and MG3 LMG are all examples of exclusive Care Package weapons. The powerful items that come in Care Packages are not always a blessing, though. Care Packages are sought-after by players across the map, which means that visiting them can be risky. It's best for players to survey packages before they engage, even when playing PUBG Mobile, where things are a little less competitive.

That being said, Care Packages aren't always necessary for experienced players. Simply having good gear doesn't guarantee success. And, now that PUBG is leaving Xbox Game Pass, the game will be losing some casual players, leaving the dedicated fans to continue fighting to be the last one standing. So, while Care Packages are certainly helpful and can change the landscape of the battlefield, it is equally important to learn the ins and outs of PUBG in order to dominate the competition. And, in a game as entertaining as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, that's hardly a difficult task.

PUBG is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
