PUBG: Battlegrounds is a unique battle royale. Few games can claim to popularize a genre, and fewer still can claim to have crossed over with McLaren cars and Assassin's Creed. Still, if PUBG players want to prove their mastery of this popular free-to-play battle royale, the game boasts a list of 37 challenging trophies / achievements.

One that players may unlock naturally — or not, if they prefer to avoid conflict — is the 'Now You See Me, Now You Don't' trophy / achievement. Requiring players to find and equip a ghillie suit, it's a challenge that players will need to overcome to say that they have 100% completion in PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Maps That Spawn Ghillie Suits

As the Now You See Me, Now You Don't trophy / achievement requires players to wear a ghillie suit, the first step is to find one. Ghillie suits are great at camouflaging their wearers in plain sight, which make them a favorite of snipers and other players that try to avoid direct conflict. It should be noted that not all maps can spawn a ghillie suit. Below, a list shows all the maps that they are guaranteed to spawn on:

  • Miramar
  • Erangel
  • Sanhok
  • Vikendi

Where To Find A Ghillie Suit

One of PUBG's battle royale skins

Most items in PUBG can be found lying around in the game's many structures, whether it makes sense to find them there or not. Ghillie suits, however, are unique in that they can only be found spawning naturally inside the care packages that drop in random places on the map during a match. Care packages are always a prime target for players to fight around as they always land in the current 'safe zone.' To increase their chances of getting away with the loot, players should try to maximize the number of bots in their game.

It's possible to find a player wearing a ghillie suit and steal it from their corpse. However, a more reliable strategy is to follow the plane that drops care packages. Being the first to arrive at the parachuting box's drop zone is a great way to quickly take and equip a ghillie suit, even if they aren't 100% guaranteed to be in the care package.

The trophy / achievement will unlock as soon as the ghillie suit is equipped, so players shouldn't worry about being killed after the suit is on. Still, with care packages having a high chance of giving players a level 3 backpack, helmet, and armor, it's worth fully looting them despite the danger for progress towards the Okay, Now I'm Ready trophy / achievement.
