Fortnite and the newly released Call of Duty: Warzone may be some of the most popular battle royale games out right now, but they're not the only ones. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is still one of the most popular games in the world, and it just received a new update on PC test servers this morning.

While it's not as significant as the previous PUBG update that added PS4 and Xbox One party cross-play, the big news is that PUBG, after a lot of teasing, has finally added the Panzerfaust the game, albeit only on the test server.

The Panzerfaust was teased early in PUBG's Season 6. The rocket launcher has an effective range of up to 150 meters and can only be found on the recently added Karakin map. Though the rockets fire slowly, they pack quite a lot of damage, having a 6 meter area-of-effect radius. The teaser video even shows it's capable of blowing holes in walls. Considering how powerful the weapon is, it's balanced out by being a single-shot weapon and by being an "uncommon" world spawn, though it can be found in airdrops.

The Panzerfaust is also difficult to aim and takes up a primary weapon slot. It's still a highly damaging weapon, though, so it all evens out. And just like its real-world counterpart, the Panzerfaust features a really powerful backblast of 3 meters, so PUBG players will have to make sure there aren't any teammates behind them when firing. Alternatively, players can take advantage of the backblast to take out any opponents that may be sneaking up behind them.

Along with the release of the Panzerfaust on the test server, Patch 6.3 brings some changes to preexisting weapons. The M249 is now a "semi-rare" world spawn on Erangel and Miramar rather than an airdrop-exclusive. In order to balance out this increased availability, PUBG Corp. has reduced its starting ammo to 75, dropped its base damage to 40, and increased the recoil. Players will be able to boost these stats, though, with a new stock attachment and an extended magazine that raises its total capacity to 150 bullets.

The Tommy Gun is getting some new upgrades with an increase to accuracy, rate of fire, and a decrease to recoil. Players will even be able to attach red dots and holo sights to the Tommy Gun now. The UMP-45 is even getting some buffs, including a damage boost to 41 and an increased rate of fire. Improving the once loved SMG might be the best thing PUBG has done since the game raised money for the Australia Wildlife Relief.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Android and iOS mobile devices. Patch 6.3 is currently only available on PC test servers.
