Psychonauts 2: All Emotional Baggage, Memory Vaults, and Half-A-Minds in Fatherland Follies

Once Psychonauts 2 players have made their way through Lucrecia Mux's mental realm, they'll get to visit one final location: Fatherland Follies. This new area sees Raz and Lili enter the mind of the mole that's been terrorizing The Psychonauts, revealing their evil plan and what they intend to gain from it.

While it acts as the game's big finale, it doubles up as the last collectible-filled world to scour, offering an array of new trinkets for Raz to recover as he learns more about his adversary and their motivations. This time around, players can secure three Nuggets of Wisdom, two Memory Vaults, and two Half-A-Minds, with all seven collectibles hidden throughout the various areas of the diorama-filled realm.

With the final world having plenty of areas to explore, it can be hard to round up absolutely everything on offer, especially as the mole has hidden treasures in some pretty obscure places. So, for those struggling to find all the Nuggets of Wisdom, Memory Vaults, and Half-A-Minds hidden in Fatherland Follies, here's how to get them all.

Although this guide won't spoil any of the major Psychonauts 2 story reveals found within Fatherland Follies, it's worth noting that there might be a few minor spoilers ahead. The section is filled with story-related scenery, and if players want to go in absolutely blind, they're probably better coming back here once they've explored the final world for themselves.

Nuggets of Wisdom

As mentioned before, players are on the lookout for three Nuggets of Wisdom throughout Fatherland Follies. In fitting with the level's theme, they're shaped like golden eggs and will emit a faint sound when players walk near them.

The first Nugget of Wisdom players will come across is found during the mid-point of the level. After Raz makes his way through the first locked door of the map, he'll arrive in the Life in Exile area, where he'll meet an employee building a new set for the Grulovian history ride.

After the character is done talking, head into the exhibit and look to the right. A Nugget of Wisdom can be found in a nearby egg cup.

The second Nugget of Wisdom crops up in the same section. During the course of the mission, players will find themselves visiting a recreation of the Lady Luctopus hotel room they broke into earlier in the campaign.

Instead of chatting to the mole, who will be stood by the bar, head to the left and burn the nearby painting to expose the secret passageway Raz entered during the Hollis' Hot Streak level. Head through to the end of the corridor to find the second Nugget of Wisdom.

The final Nugget of Wisdom crops up during Raz's visit to Whispering Rock in the Infiltrating the Psychonauts area. After fighting through the mole's version of The Motherlobe and escaping through the backstage section, players will find themselves stood next to an animatronic version of Ford Cruller and the mole.

Head to the left and walk up the tiny pathway to the two small cabins. Raz will shrink in size to fit through the doors of the miniature buildings, allowing players to enter. Head through the cabin on the lefthand side to find the Nugget of Truth on a nearby bunk bed.

Half-A-Minds

There are two final Half-A-Minds to claim in Fatherland Follies. As always, players can partner them together to get a health upgrade for Raz, so they're well worth seeking out.

The first Half-A-Mind can be found during the opening section of the mission. After Raz exits the carriage to find the power box in The Fall of Grulovia area, head to the opposite end of the room and look for a water wheel. Once there, locate a small passage between the waterwheel and the room's central diorama. Inside, players should find the first Half-A-Mind.

The second can be found later into the level. Upon reaching the Life in Exile area, head over to the interactive diorama. Get Lili to change the setting to "Desert Wasteland" and places the tree and cactus props in front of the set. From here, players should be able to use the trampolines behind both props to reach a small hole in the top left of the scene. Inside, players will find the second Half-A-Mind behind the scenery.

Memory Vaults

Players can locate another two Memory Vaults throughout Fatherland Follies, with the safes offering deeper insights into the mole's past and the reasoning behind his plans. To get the story reel inside, players will have to break them open.

The first Memory Vault can be found during the opening section of the level. After Raz disembarks the ride to explore The Fall of Grulovia area, follow the main path until reaching the giant diorama of Ford Cruller battling Maligula.

To the right of the Maligula statue is a small doorway with a track running through it. Enter the doorway to find a secret area containing the first Memory Vault.

The second Memory Vault can be found in the same location as the third Nugget of Wisdom. As Raz emerges into the Whispering Rock diorama, he should head up the small path to the left. He'll shrink as he arrives at the two tiny cabins ahead, allowing him to enter the miniature doors. Walk into the cabin on the right and Raz will find himself in a room containing the final Memory Vault.

With all seven collectibles under players' belts, they'll be ready to return to the Motherlobe or venture back into some of Raz's previous missions. They can also attempt to track down all the Emotional Baggage in Fatherland Follies, with the level hiding five bags and tags for players to discover.
