Among the various collectibles scattered throughout Psychonauts 2's campaign, the game's various pieces of Emotional Baggage are some of the most difficult to find, tasking players with finding both a bag and its corresponding tag. The collectible crops up in most of the game's mind-based levels, even making an appearance in Hollis' Classroom, which is one of the shorter missions players embark on during Psychonauts 2's campaign.
Although there are just two bags and two tags this time around, players can still miss a few things while trying to alter Hollis' hospital-based mind palace. So, for those needing a little assistance to find every piece of Emotional Baggage, here is where Forsythe has them stashed away.
The Steamer Trunk
The Steamer Trunk is the first piece of Emotional Baggage players will find during their initial stint in Hollis' mind, and its tag crops up in the very first area of the mission. When players first drop into Hollis' mind, they'll find themselves in the level's titular classroom, with Forsythe teaching Raz and the interns how to use the Mental Connection ability. If they head over to the central platform that Hollis teaches on, they'll find the Steamer Trunk tag on a desk to their right.
As for the bag, they'll be able to access it slightly later into the mission. Once Hollis has left the classroom, players will be able to journey out of the room using Mental Connection, winding up in an ambulance. After a short cutscene, they'll be ejected from the vehicle, winding up in front of the hospital Forsythe used to work at.
Look around to find Mental Connection strands and follow them to the entrance's roof. When there, head to the left-hand side of the rooftop to find the Steamer Trunk amongst some pipes.
The Hat Bag
The second piece of Emotional Baggage to recover is the Hat Box, and luckily, its tag isn't too far from the Steamer Trunk. Much like before, head to the hospital entrance's roof using Mental Connection but instead of heading left, look to the right. The Hat Box tag will be atop some vents.
The bag itself is hiding in plain sight. Players can find it by heading to the right-hand side of the parking lot area, where it'll be sitting in the corner by some trash cans. Offer it the tag, and every bag in the level will be accounted for.
This is just the start of Raz's journey into the mind of Hollis, as he'll return later in the game to find the world – and Hollis herself – have been drastically altered. Titled Hollis' Hot Streak, the next level set in the teacher's head, tasks players with finding a further three pieces of Emotional Baggage as well as additional Nuggets of Wisdom, Half-A-Minds, and Memory Vaults.
