The past few weeks have seen plenty of companies giving away free games, movies, and shows, as the world tries to encourage people to stay at home during the coronavirus. Bandai Namco recently gave away a Pac-Man game for free, and now, PlayStation owners are getting some free My Hero Academia to binge-watch while at home.

My Hero Academia has been a hugely popular anime, featuring a fairly unique animation style and a roster of interesting superheroes. Right now, PlayStation users can get the entire first season for free through the PlayStation Store in HD. All they need to do is head over to the store, add it to the cart, and check out.

It's worth noting that this only seems to be working on the actual PlayStation Store through PlayStation hardware, so those trying to access it from the app may be unable to do so. However, that seems to be hit or miss, so those away from home may want to check on their phones just to be sure.

No details were given as to how long the deal will actually last, so those that want to pick up the anime should act quickly. Many consider My Hero Academia to be one of the best anime out right now, so those interested won't want to miss this.

PlayStation has been fairly generous as of late, offering free games as part of its Play at Home initiative. There's no telling how long it will last, as its likely a costly program to run, but it's certainly something fans of the platform have come to appreciate. There's a chance that Sony will continue to release free content to its users if coronavirus lasts much longer, but fans will have to wait and see.

Those that are interested in learning more about My Hero Academia may one to give My Hero: One's Justice, a game based on the anime, a try. Anime-based games have become increasingly common as the genre gains mainstream popularity, and while not all of them are great, it has been amazing for fans of the respective franchises.

My Hero Academia is available now.
