This isn’t the first video that Sony has put out that goes into some of the more technical or specific aspects of the console. Not too long ago, PlayStation put out a video of Sony’s Yasuhiro Ootori taking apart a PS5 console fully. This settings video covers a myriad of settings new and old that players will no doubt need to fiddle with on launch day. Ranging from controller settings to a slew of different audio settings, including the microphone inside the DualSense controller and from user headphones.

The video also gives another brief, full-screen glimpse of the PS5 home screen. It shows the placement of the new home screen tabs as well as the position of the profile, search, and setting icons. Players now finally have more officially looks at the PS5’s UI following plenty of instances where the PS5's storage and startup screens leaked online ahead of its official launch. Needless to say, this video is very helpful for those interested in the advanced audio settings that the PS5 is capable of.

It’s also worth noting how slick and clean the PS5’s UI look. While it’s still reminiscence of the generally clutter-free UI of the PS4, it look much more refined and streamlined. Aside from official Sony press material surrounding the PS5, plenty of content creators around the world have also now shown off the PS5 ahead of launch. Videos featuring live console and controller footage along with gameplay of a variety of different titles like Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Godfall have started to pop up all over the internet.

Additionally, it also looks like this won’t be the last video on PlayStation Support that covers PS5 user settings information ahead of launch. Sony has already put out a handful of other videos detailing how PS4 save data will transfer to PS5 and what the process entails. Players expecting to get a PS5 around launch should definitely give these videos a watch. Especially if they’re expecting to transfer they’re valuable save data across consoles.
