Players might credit Wizards of the Coast's Dungeons & Dragons for helping them get acquainted with various video games. After all, it's thanks to the creative freedom of TTRPGs that players get to explore the many possibilities their character can do in games. For players who want a new spin on D&D's tactical potential but don't want to play Final Fantasy can actually enjoy the same level of fun with Nintendo's Pokémon franchise.

Unfortunately, considering how the franchise stayed with gaming for more than two decades and coming, it might be difficult choosing between all its titles - both main and otherwise. After all, which Pokémon suits a player best? Interestingly, this decision might become much easier if players look at this from D&D 's moral alignments perspective. Which Pokémon game fit which type of player alignment?

9 Lawful Good: Spider-Man: Miles Morales

While Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be a spinoff and not a sequel to the acclaimed Marvel's Spider-Man, it's still something to watch out for. After all, given the critical reception of Insomniac Games' take on the web-slinger's heroic career, it makes sense to expect exciting things for Miles Morales.

If gameplay is any indication, it appears Miles Morales will have most of the features seen in the original Spider-Man game. These include a massive open-world, cool costumes, as well as opportunities to do acts of heroism and slick spidey moves.

8 Neutral Good: Dirt 5

Racing gamers deserve to have their own fair share of fun with the upcoming PS5. Thankfully, Dirt 5 serves as the Dirt installment perfect for off-road racing fans. Taking on the same spirit as the rest of the Dirt franchise, Dirt 5 tackles off-road racing and its many variants. These include off-road buggies, stadium super trucks, ice racing, and even rallycross. This game will likely challenge a player's controller-handling skills.

Moreover, players can enjoy racing their cars in known real-world locations. Matches take place in Norway, New York City, Italy, China, Brazil, and Arizona - complete with dynamic seasons and weather that can affect racing conditions. Additionally, players itching for a car-driven narrative can enjoy Dirt 5's story mode.

7 Chaotic Good: Stray

When gamers say "post-apocalyptic," they see images of resistance fighters or families struggling to survive. In Stray, they take on the role of a cat navigating the Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong. And while there's much more to anticipate in terms of the plot, the presence of robots and graffiti of "R.I.P. Humans" in the trailer does imply some sort of robot uprising.

Regardless, fans should expect a large portion of the game to tackle exploration and puzzle-solving. Either way, while the idea seems droll for every other adventure game - Stray features a cat, so it gets a free pass.

6 Lawful Neutral: GhostWire: Tokyo

FPS gamers who hear "horror FPS" either think of the more action-oriented Fear or the grim Resident Evil 7. However, there's actually an interesting in-between, thanks to GhostWire: Tokyo. In this game, players find themselves in modern Tokyo. Unfortunately, this Tokyo features more supernatural creatures than humans. And given Japanese horror, players can expect a wide variety of long-haired ghosts, spectral beings, and other unexplained "oddities" that lean less towards gore and more towards the uncanny valley.

According to the story so far, this version of Tokyo finds itself 99% depopulated due to a paranormal incident. Unfortunately, survivors of the incident are pursued by supernatural creatures. However, it's up to the player - who themselves developed supernatural abilities after the incident - to save Tokyo from destruction.

5 True Neutral: Hitman 3

Thanks to IO Interactive's take on the Hitman franchise, stealth fans may perhaps have gotten one of the most dynamic and flexible stealth games in recent years. And while Hitman itself has had stellar games, it's IO's take on the series that showed Agent 47 has more to offer than just sneak kills. Now, with Hitman 3 looming over the horizon, future PS5 gamers can finally see more of Agent 47's acclaimed prowess in the art of assassination.

Just like other entries in the series, Hitman 3 will boast huge open environments for every mission. Moreover, each of these areas will be populated by NPCs, each with their own routines and reactions to the environment. Agent 47 will have to use disguises, an assortment of weapons, and even environmental factors to kill his marks.

4 Chaotic Neutral: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Gamers who consider themselves TTRPG fans would likely have heard Vampire: The Masquerade. Some players may have played Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, a PC adaptation of the same TTRPG. And while there's much to improve in this initial release, it's the impending arrival of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 that makes it extremely exciting.

Players leaning towards the Chaotic Neutral alignment will enjoy what Bloodlines 2 has to offer. Moreover, this upcoming release not only retains the core narrative-driven setting of Bloodlines. In addition, thanks to unique vampire abilities, players may very well decide to uphold vampire secrecy via the Masquerade or enjoy their newfound immortality.

3 Lawful Evil: Deathloop

Deathloop teases players an action-oriented experience with a dash of time travel on the side. In this game, players take on the role of the assassin Cole. Unfortunately for Cole, he's in a time loop. The game combines elements of stealth, action, and puzzle gaming to navigate through levels. Cole needs to eliminate eight targets inside the Blackreef island before 12AM.

Unfortunately, the game resets the player's progress if they die or fail to eliminate all of the targets. Moreover, an agent called Julianna knows about the time loop and will try everything to stop Cole. To make it more fun, other players can "join" another player's game as Julianna to try and stop his progress.

2 Neutral Evil: Watch Dogs: Legion

Fans of Watch Dogs will get more out of their hacking shenanigans as they save another city in Watch Dogs: Legion. However, this new installment seems to combine the skill versatility of the first game and the cooperative thrust of its sequel. As such, players can enjoy playing with up to three friends in multiplayer mode. Alternatively, they can take control of their AI companions.

Additionally, players take control of DedSec's London branch, which at the time is fighting the UK presence of the surveillance system ctOS. Moreover, hackers this time have different skillsets. As such, team composition diversifies gameplay and narrative options.

1 Chaotic Evil: Planet Coaster: Console Edition

Players who want a change of pace from the usual action-adventure title would find themselves delightful with Planet Coaster: Console Edition. Unlike other upcoming PS5 entries, this console variant of the hit Planet Coaster franchise means players can finally make the best (or the most terrifying) theme parks for their guests!

Taking on the spirit of popular tycoon games, players can opt to follow Planet Coaster's usual campaign mode or take on challenges. Alternatively, fans can also build a theme park from scratch and enjoy their riders' reactions to nightmarish rollercoasters!
