When an unknown man awakes on an island after being killed by a mysterious woman, he soon finds that his name is Colt, and he has a mission: put an end to the timeline that traps him on the island of Blackreef. Deathloop is a quirky, smart, and highly stylized game, where powers and weapons are unique to the player, as are how they choose their day-to-day.

The island of Blackreef resets every 24 hours, meaning Colt wakes on the same beach, and all its inhabitants are none the wiser to having their daily cycle repeat, over and over again. Due to the repetition, Deathloop is greatly replayable, as each cycle is unique depending on the actions the player takes.

Players find themselves as V, a Night City citizen who seeks something greater, to be one of the leading people at The Afterlife, and a Night City Legend. Pairing a data chip with the memories of Johnny Silverhand, V can decide to fade away or make his mark on Night City. The replayability comes from the beautiful graphics of the city and the different options in the multiple choice RPG for missions.
