10 Riders Republic

Players can ski, snowboard, and bike against twenty other players on the PS4, though other systems will be able to have more. There are different modes in the game, including a Career Mode and Multiplayer Team Modes, which will put two groups of six players against each other. Players will find themselves in real locations set in the United States, making the game feel more realistic.

Continuing from where Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! left off, Abe finds himself in much greater danger than he had before as he leads a revolution to free the Mudokons from the Glukkons. The game's story is going to be very similar to Abe's Exoddus but will add new, darker elements. After many delays, the game is now planned to be released this year.

8 Kena: Bridge Of Spirits

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game developed by Ember Lab, who many know from their fan-made The Legend of Zelda short film, Majora's Mask - Terrible Fate.

They have since been working on their own game that reminds fans of their favorite Disney and Pixar movies. Kena, and her adorable companions known as the Rot, must battle against spirits that have not left the physical world.

7 Scarlet Nexus

Scarlet Nexus is an RPG that is being developed by Bandai Namco. After dangerous creatures known as the Others appeared, the Other Suppression Force was created to defeat them. Yuito Sumeragi, the playable character of the game, is a new member of the OSF. Using Yuito's psycho-kinetic powers, players can use their surroundings in New Himuka to fight the Others and befriend their teammates.

NieR Replicant was the first spin-off in the Drakengard series and it didn't receive much success when it originally released. It wasn't until NieR: Automata came out and sold better than anyone had expected, when Square Enix decided to bring the first game over more accessible. However, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is a lot more than just a port. The gameplay has significantly improved and is now a lot like NieR: Automata, new music has been recorded, and a lot of other additions to the game are coming.

5 Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach

The next installment of the Five Nights At Freddy's series is releasing this year. These games have always been very mysterious and though not a lot has been officially revealed about this title, there have been some encrypted codes and messages that give fans a good idea as to what the game will be about. There are a lot of brand new characters being introduced in this installment, such as Vanny and Gregory. Vanny seems to be the main antagonist of the game, while Gregory is most likely a child that she kidnapped, who has teamed up with Freddy. There are many mysteries surrounding these characters and fans can't wait to learn the truth.

4 NEO: The World Ends With You

Like NieR ReplicantThe World Ends With You is another underrated Square Enix game that has its chance to shine this year. It has been thirteen years since the original title released and a sequel is finally coming.

NEO: The World Ends With You is going to tell a new story with a lot of different characters, though some from the first installment are returning. This will also be the first time that the game releases on a PlayStation system since the first game only released on Nintendo platforms and mobile devices.

Balan Wonderworld is a brand new game yet already gives fans a sense of nostalgia as it takes a lot of inspiration from titles that released in the 1990s and early 2000s. After Leo and Emma encounter Balan, a maestro who wants to help them recover the missing piece of their hearts, they travel throughout Wonderworld and collect costumes. Throughout their journey, they must obtain trophies and battle the bosses that reside in each stage. Those that like games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Kingdom Hearts should keep their eye out on this title.

Instead of players fighting each other, three of them can now team up to defeat AI opponents. Outbreak, a popular event from Siege, has been a big inspiration for the upcoming release so fans of that mode should definitely get this game.
