It seems more and more that other digital storefronts are trying to compete with Steam in their sizeable sales occurring with notable frequency. In the middle of a PlayStation Store sale for August savings on hundreds of games, the PlayStation Store is also hosting a Flash Sale discounting games up to 50% off for the weekend.
The games included in the PlayStation Store Flash Sale are fairly plentiful. Additionally, there are some notable titles that some otherwise hesitant gamers may want to consider getting at their discounts.
For example, Hitman 2 has been discounted from $59.99 to $29.99. As one of the best multiplayer games of 2018, the game improves upon the formula of 2016's Hitman reboot while adding its own flair with new mechanics, gadgets, and modes. For anyone awaiting the best opportunity to purchase the highly worthy sequel, now is a good time to do so.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has been discounted as well, from $39.99 to $29.99. Moreover, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled - Nitros Oxide Edition has been discounted from $59.99 to $44.99. While the latter edition includes all of the content from the standard edition, it also includes the ability to play as Nitros Oxide from the start, as well as exclusive skins, a Hovercraft kart, and more.
The highly-acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition is also on sale. The game is now more than 50% off at a price of $14.99, down from $49.99, and it includes every DLC add-on such as Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. With The Witcher Netflix series on the way, it could be wise to prepare by engaging in a The Witcher 3 marathon with this discount.
