With the PS Plus free games for November 2022 available now, many are no doubt waiting for Sony to announce the slew of Extra and Premium games coming this year, but it seems Sony intended to give fans a sneak peek. The official PS Plus Extra and Premium for November 2022 announcement will come this month, but today is a special day and Sony has confirmed five games ahead of then.

Today is Ratchet and Clank's 20-year anniversary, with Sony and Insomniac celebrating the franchise in a couple of ways. In honor of the anniversary, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is getting five new armor sets based on franchise history. These include Commando Armor (Going Commando), Holoflux Armor (A Crack in Time), Quest Armor (Quest for Booty), Marauder Armor (Deadlocked), and "Clank armor to celebrate the greatest of pals."

The big surprise is that all five PS Plus Premium games are classic Ratchet and Clank titles, coming to the service on November 15. These are all PS3 titles fans may have not played in some time (or new fans may have never played, to begin with).

PS Plus Premium New Ratchet and Clank Games - November 15

7-Ratchet-and-Clank-Going-Commando
  • Ratchet & Clank (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PS3)

These Ratchet and Clank games join those already available on PS Plus Premium, which include Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time, All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault, and Into the Nexus. Ratchet and Clank 2016 is available in the PS Plus Collection, but this means every game in the franchise is available via PS Plus except for the latest game, Rift Apart, and the two PSP games, Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank. There's also the mobile games to consider, but those aren't likely to ever appear for obvious reasons.

While the jury is out on when/if Rift Apart ever comes to PS Plus Extra, it would make sense for Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank to join PS Plus Premium eventually. Overall, it seems the PSP gets a little less attention than other platforms when it comes to PS Plus Premium announcements, but that's because these probably have a few extra challenges. Either way, PS Plus is clearly supporting the celebration of the Ratchet and Clank franchise.

PS Plus subscribers get a handful of games every month.
