Call of Duty: WWII was published by Activision and released back in 2017 for current-gen consoles. The plot follows a group of soldiers from the 1st Infantry Squad during the invasion of Normandy and the march on Berlin. Some fans of the series have commented on the game's lackluster single-player mode in comparison to the previous entries.

However, Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer is praised for bringing back classic Call of Duty game modes such as Hardpoint, Free for All, and Nazi Zombies.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is another online first-person shooter game developed by Electronic Arts back in 2017. The game incorporates elements from all the recent movies, as well as the original trilogy, into the games in the form of playable characters, maps, and game modes. Star Wars Battlefront 2 had problems with multiplayer mode, and some fans criticize the lackluster campaign mode, but a lot of changes have been made since then, and the game is worth revisiting.

The PlayStation Plus announcement was made in two parts, with Call of Duty: WWII announced earlier and given to the subscribers before Battlefront 2. Now, both of these titles are available to download until Monday, July 6th. Despite bad choices for PlayStation Plus titles in the past, it seems Sony decided to take the general route and choose games that appeal to a broader audience. Subscribers can only hope that Sony is listening to the users and will keep up this trend of popular titles.

PS Plus games for June 2020 are available now.
