PS Plus fans have been debating what October’s games would be for most of this month. This is primarily because fans found evidence of Hell Let Loose being the PS Plus PS5 title, yet then some managed to compile evidence for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl later on. Either way, it seems that dust has settled now because the PS Plus games have leaked online.

All leaks live and die by their source; if a source is no good, then a leak is no good. This PS Plus leak comes way of Dealabs, a French forum with strong moderation practices, and this website has leaked the PS Plus free games lineup accurately several times in the past. As such, while it should still be taken with a grain of salt, there’s a high chance these titles are legit.

PS Plus Free Games for October 2021 List

  • Hell Let Loose (PS5)

  • PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4)

According to a post on Dealabs, next month’s free PS Plus games for October 2021 include Hell Let Loose, Mortal Kombat X, and PGA Tour 2K21. The user notes that Mortal Kombat X will be replaced in some countries, which is standard practice for the service, and these games will last from October 5 to November 2.

As aforementioned, Hell Let Loose comes as no surprise—it releases brand new on PS5 on October 5, it can’t be pre-ordered, and despite being multi-plat, its betas have only been on PlayStation platforms. Hell Let Loose is a tactical first-person shooter based on WW2 with squad-oriented gameplay and incredibly detailed maps; fans of FPS games or history in general really ought to check it out. It’s already available on Steam, where it has gathered over 32,000 ‘Very Positive’ reviews.

The other two games have solid reviews too. Mortal Kombat X, the brutal fighting game, has an 83 on Metacritic for PS4. Given how popular Mortal Kombat 11 is and how rumors of Mortal Kombat 12 have already begun, it’s a good time for any fan to go back—if they don’t own it. Meanwhile, PGA Tour 2K21 has a 76 on Metacritic for PS4 and allows players to create a character, create a course even, golf on real or created courses, and take on pros.

Overall, it seems like a solid month in PS Plus’ line-up, but again, fans should still take this with a grain of salt. Based on its PS Plus patterns, Sony will announce the next set of games on Wednesday, September 29, and then they’ll know for sure. This leak being accurate, however, seems like a safe bet.
