Right now, many fans are waiting to see what the PS Plus free games for December 2021 are. Some internet sleuths have tried to predict it, naming Heavenly Bodies as one of the potential PS Plus games. However, a recent and reliable leak may have proven that prediction wrong.

Dealabs has once again leaked the upcoming PS Plus line-up, which is expected to be officially revealed on December 1—later than normal because of the way November and December dates line up. It could come early, but Dealabs has accurately leaked the entire line-up for the past few months. So, while this should be taken with a grain of salt, fans have plenty of reason to believe Dealabs.

According to the moderated online forum, PS Plus subscribers will get the following three games next month: Godfall (PS5/PS4), Mortal Shell (PS4), and LEGO DC Super-Villains (PS4). The user also notes that Mortal Shell will be replaced with a different title in some regions, and Heavenly Bodies is notably absent. Overall, though, this isn’t a bad spread: two action RPGs, one of which is a Soulslike, and a LEGO game.

Godfall, in short, features a world split into five elements (Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit) where players must equip Valorplates as the last of the Knight’s Order and stop the mad god Macros. Meanwhile, Mortal Shell sees players become a “Foundling” who must take on shells, follow the mysterious “Dark Father” and track down hidden sanctums of followers. Finally, LEGO DC Super-Villains sees the disappearance of the Justice League and a new emphasis placed on the baddies this time around.

Assuming this is true, fans may learn sooner than anticipated or they may have another week. It’s hard to say, but it’s easy to trust Dealabs given its record. It remains to be seen how these games would be received, yet it’s a decent slate of games. They’ll most likely be compared to the PS Plus free games for November 2021, which included bonus VR games: First Class Trouble, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Knockout City, The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, and Until You Fall.

There’s still time to claim these PS Plus games as well, but the month is nearing its end. Indeed, the year is too, so it’ll be interesting to see what comes of the subscription service as the new year comes about.

PS Plus subscribers get a handful of free games every month.
