Sony has announced a couple of new games being included in the PlayStation Plus Collection, adding to the already robust line-up of the collection launching day and date with the PlayStation 5.

Launching with the service are the hit current-gen games Call of Duty Black Ops 3 : Zombies Chronicles Edition and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogywhich players will be able to download to their PlayStation 5 as long as they are PS Plus members.

The two new additions join the likes of several third party games already in the collection including Batman: Arkham Knight, Final Fantasy 15, and Fallout 4. The collection also includes several first party titles such as Bloodborne, God of War, and The Last Guardian.

Zombies Chronicles includes fully remastered versions of eight classic Zombies maps from various modes found in the franchise. While it also includes the base game found in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, the main focus is the Zombies mode, which has become popular after originally launched with Call of Duty: World at War.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is the collection of Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Warped remade from the ground up with a new engine and new graphics in one package. Crash Bandicoot was made famous on the original PlayStation thanks to these original three games and their spin-offs.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has sold so well that Activision also followed the game up with Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a remade version of the classic kart racer Crash Team Racing. Following the success of both remakes, Activision announced and released a new sequel titled Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time this September.

Announced at the second PlayStation 5 event in September, The PS Plus Collection is a new initiative by Sony to bring a library of popular games from the PlayStation 4 to the new console. While the majority of the games in the collection are from Sony's first party lineup, fans can expect some major third party games too.

The PlayStation Plus Collection looks to be a major incentive for those weary about jumping to the PlayStation 5 from the current-gen consoles when it launches. While Sony has stated the initiative is not a direct competitor to Microsoft's Game Pass, the lineup is sure to catch the attention of new and current PlayStation fans alike. With the addition of some new games, its easy to see the PlayStation Plus Collection growing with time as the PlayStation 5 gets in player's hands.

The PlayStation Plus Collection launches alongside the PlayStation 5 November 12.
