By quickly pressing a button, the entirety of "dirt areas" will be highlighted in a yellow/orange glow so players know what still needs to be cleaned. On top of that, a bar on the heads-up display always shows how much left needs to be cleaned on a given surface. And, if that wasn't enough, players can also open up the menu to see which areas are completely cleaned and which ones still need some attention.

One of the very best ways to progress in this game and to make tougher powerwashing jobs a bit easier is by investing earned money into new equipment, nozzles, cleaners, and the like. PowerWash Simulator has a surprising number of items to purchase with the cash players earn from completing various jobs, or even parts of a job at any given time.
The purchasable categories are broken up into Power Washers, Equipment, Cleaning Liquids, Clothing, and Modifications. It's a good idea to prioritize new power washers, new equipment pieces, and new modifications in order to make the bigger jobs a tad bit easier overall.
1 Focus On One Area At A Time
It might be tempting to just start powerwashing everything and anything when first hopping into a new job, however, it's actually a good idea to focus on one area at a time. Although players are given the ability to check which areas are dirty and thus still need to be washed, it can be easy to forget the spots you missed, especially the smaller ones.
Instead of just washing wide swaths of dirty areas, simply focus on one area at a time. The reason for this is that payment comes when a specific item, area, or object is fully cleaned. Take time to clean one spot at a time to ensure the entirety of a level will get the powerwashing love it desperately needs.
