The Powerpuff Girls is an epoch-making masterpiece of an entire generation. The crime-fighting trio is the mashup of Totally Spies and Charlie's Angels, with a splash of adorable. And as everything great, this doesn't have to end either, because the live-action series is just around the corner.

While the three leads found their real-life counterparts, everyone is still waiting for the rest to be public. Until then, all fans can do is fantasize about the epic villains and their appearance on the screen. And because these characters were in fact not made of sugar, spice, and everything nice, the actors too have to have some bitterness to them to really sell the characters.

8 Sedusa - Emma Stone

Powerpuff Girls Sedusa, Ima Goodegirl and Emma Stone Collage

Sedusa is the embodiment of puns and dad-jokes. While posing as Ima Goodelady (get it?) she plays the role of evil stepmother for the girls and ruling wife for Professor Utonium. While easily defeated in physical combat, her ways of seducing any and every man in sight prove to be a mighty strong weapon.

To truly bring her character to life, the actress needs to be able to play both Sedusa and Ima Goodelady, and one name stands out from the rest: Emma Stone. Her green eyes, face shape, and more importantly her witty attitude and acting skills are perfect for this unique character. Not to mention, she's getting plenty of practice for the role in the live-action Cruella movie.

7 Boogie Man - Tom Hiddleston

Powerpuff Girls Boogie Man and Tom Hiddleston

This character is the classic Boogie Man but with a stylish twist of disco. Imagine fighting on a beat with amazing outfits to give it a little extra. He has control over other monsters being his main ability other than being a monster himself.

For this character, people need to see someone with the attitude and dance abilities to pull off any disco outfit and classic move. And while everyone wants to see Hugh Grant slide across the floor like in Love Actually, and the whole world is devastated to see John Travolta retire his disco gear, there's one person who could possibly take their place and embody the Boogie Man and his 70s ways of life. This actor is none other than national treasure, Tom Hiddleston.

6 Mr. Mime - James Marsden

Powerpuff Girls Rainbow the Clown/Mr. Mime and James Marsden

Rainbow the Clown went evil and sour, and thus became Mr. Mime whose main goal is to suck all color and sound out of the world. While his appearance is cut short after being thrown into jail, he's still a big part of the Powerpuff universe. And let's not forget that in the end, he goes back to being the innocent Rainbow the Clown (although at the end of the day they're all evil as everyone knows).

To truly bring him to life, the series needs an actor with a soft Rainbow the Clown side, and an evil Mr. Mime side. Most importantly, it an actor who has the perfect smile of both an innocent and evil clown. And the perfect person with the acting skills to pull off both an adorable, giggly, juvenile entertainer and an evil clown with a dark soul is the loveable James Marsden himself.

5 The Rowdyruff Boys - Dylan Sprouse, Taron Egerton, Penn Badgley

Powerpuff Girls The Rowdyruff Boys, Dylan Sprouse, Taron Egerton and Penn Badgley

Now to take a look at the polar opposite of the Powerpuff Girls, these are the Rowdyruff Boys. Made out of snips, and snails, and puppy dog tails, these evil boys can't be defeated by the girls, as they're just as powerful. But they do have one weak spot: their stupidity. So while they're practically undefeatable in combat, they lack in smarts.

People deserve a powerful trio of amazing actors, and frankly one of them should be Penn Badgley. He's known for his evil characters, and already has the face of an animated character. Also, fans deserve this. And speaking of what fans deserve, he should be accompanied by a Sprouse brother and the crowd favorite Taron Egerton. This trio alone could sell out all opening night tickets in about a second.

4 Fuzzy Lumpkins - Jack Black

Powerpuff Girls Fuzzy Lumpkins and Jack Black

This violent antagonist is the one every little girl is afraid of. He's highly protective of his property and doesn't shy away from aggression, using any of his various weapons. His rage is beyond measure, so his live-action counterpart should be able to play this rage perfectly.

Some classic "angry actors" include Anthony Hopkins and Jack Nicholson, but to give this character a fresh debut, the perfect match for the Fuzzy Lumpkins rage is none other than Jack Black spiced with a little 'get off my lawn!' attitude.

3 Princess Morbucks - Hailee Steinfeld

Powerpuff Girls Princess Morbucks and Hailee Steinfeld

Princess is the main rival of the Powerpuff Girls, being jealous of everything they are. She has basically any weapon one can think of, but still can't beat the power trio. When she realizes she can't buy her way into the exclusive club of the Powerpuff Girls, she decides they shouldn't even exist anymore.

She's both a genius and spoiled little girl who gets anything she wants from her dad, and what she wants is equipment to build some high-tech gadgets against the girls. She's like the daughter of Iron Man, or Batman, having the smarts just not the maturity. Hailee Steinfeld's witty attitude and smart acting could be perfect for the role. And imagine her in a Princess Morbucks wig.

2 Mojo Jojo - Willem Dafoe

Powerpuff Girls Mojo Jojo and Willem Dafoe

Sugar, spice, and everything nice, and just a dash of Chemical X, and voilá, Mojo Jojo is born. The main antagonist of the show and something like an estranged brother to the girls and son to Professor Utonium, Mojo Jojo uses his brainpower to try to take over the world.

Mojo Jojo is the villain fans can feel for, because of his sometimes sympathetic nature, and detailed backstory that actually makes his nature understandable. If not for his ego, he might even be undefeatable. And we have two words for you: Willem Dafoe. His evil looks and genius acting could possibly be what makes or breaks this show, and fans would love to see his take on the infamous character.

1 HIM - Jim Parsons

Powerpuff Girls HIM and Jim Parsons

The most legendary villain of Powerpuff Girls, and possibly the entirety of Cartoon Network is HIM. His debut in the animated series was possibly the scariest children's cartoon scenes in history. Every child watching the series was seriously traumatized by the existence of HIM.

HIM has the ability of shapeshifting, telekinesis, super strength, mind control, and more. He's definitely the strongest antagonist in the series, and is proved to be undefeatable, for the girls never really defeat him, he just retreats. His style is impeccable, he's always fabulous and wonderfully evil. There's only one actor who can pull off this fabulous fit and is great at playing psychological warfare and that's the legendary Jim Parsons.
