YouTube user Merfish creates yet another TV intro recreation video in Grand Theft Auto 5, this time tackling the Cartoon Network show Powerpuff Girls.

Back in the golden years of Cartoon Network, one of the network's most popular cartoons was Powerpuff Girls. It was a show about three super-powered girls fighting crime, and many kids from the era probably recall the explosive adventures of Butters, Blossom, and Buttercup fondly. YouTube user Merfish certainly does, as he has recreated the Powerpuff Girls intro sequence in Grand Theft Auto 5.

The intro isn't recreated exactly, but it's probably as perfect as one can get when recreating the Powerpuff Girls intro within the confines of Grand Theft Auto 5. It hits all the right beats, including Michael, Trevor, and Franklin dressed as Butters, Blossom, and Buttercup respectively, and it even features GTA 5 versions of some of the memorable villains from the show. Fans of either Grand Theft Auto 5 or Powerpuff Girls should be able to get a kick out of the video, and it'll be sure to leave many wanting a Powerpuff Girls mod in the vein of other superhero mods (i.e. the Iron Man GTA 5 mod).

Overall, Merfish's take on Powerpuff Girls in GTA is very clever and impressive, but don't take our word for it. Check out the Powerpuff Girls intro recreated in Grand Theft Auto 5 as well as a side-by-side comparison video below:

Merfish definitely has a talent when it comes to recreating television shows within Grand Theft Auto 5. His past videos, such as the Pokemon intro recreated in GTA 5 and the Teletubbies intro recreated in GTA 5, have all been humorous and fun to watch. That being said, as someone that was a kid during the heyday of Powerpuff Girls, his latest video may be the most entertaining yet.

Merfish has also tackled the sitcoms Full House and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air using the Grand Theft Auto 5 Rockstar Editor tools, so it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. He clearly has a desire to create television intro sequences from the 90's in GTA 5, so maybe his next creation will see the intro sequence from Friends or The Simpsons recreated in the game. It's really anyone's guess, as the previous videos have been based on a wide range of works, from 90's sitcoms to bizarre kid shows to anime, and now cartoons. One thing's for certain, however, and that is whatever Merfish dreams up next in GTA 5, it will likely be a blast to watch.

What do you think of the Powerpuff Girls intro being recreated in Grand Theft Auto 5? What shows would you like Merfish to tackle next? Sound off in the comments below and leave us your thoughts on Merfish's videos, and what show intros you would like to see recreated in GTA 5.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is currently available for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
