While fighting game aficionados wait for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid to unveil an official launch date, the development team at nWay has decided to keep providing potential players with even more details about the title in the meantime. Today, the studio officially released a new gameplay trailer that highlights some 3v3 combat featuring the full starting roster, as well as the introduction of moves dubbed Megazord Ultras.

As far as the full base roster for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is concerned, fans of Saban's superhero franchise should expect to see the likes of Goldar, Ranger Slayer, Mastodon Sentry, Kat, Magna Defender, Gia, Jason, Tommy, and Lord Drakkon at launch. The latest gameplay trailer gives each of them their time to shine during combat, with the footage showcasing certain signature moves for them all.

What's more is that Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid debuts even more powerful abilities that fighters will have as an additional means of attack, with nWay calling them Megazord Ultras. Not every character has their Megazord Ultra unveiled in the trailer, but Tommy - that is, the Green Ranger - can be seen playing the iconic Dragon Dagger summon music to call upon his Dragonzord to unleash attacks of gigantic proportions upon his opponents.

With the newest gameplay trailer for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid now having unveiled all of the characters that players should expect to have available once the fighting game releases, it will be interesting to see who else could be added as post-launch DLC. The safest bet to make would be more Rangers, but perhaps even more villains in the vein of Goldar will be brought into the mix, too.

As previously mentioned, there's still no telling just when Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will officially go live for fighting game fans to experience. Nevertheless, nWay will hopefully have more to show off of its Marvel vs Capcom 3-esque fighting game before then, as the developer still hasn't revealed what the UI will look like during actual gameplay. After all, players will need to be aware of their characters' health bars and various resources in order to understand what exactly is going on and perform well during play.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is scheduled to launch at some point in Spring 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
