Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, the Power Rangers fighting game for consoles, originally launched in 2019 with a relatively small roster of 12 playable fighters. Since its launch, developer nWay has released seasonal content and DLC to fill out the roster a bit more, so that there's now over 20 playable characters in the game. Those who have yet to play Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid are in luck, as they will soon be able to get a complete version with all of the DLC characters and more.

On May 25, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid - Super Edition will launch digitally for $49.99, with a physical version to follow in July. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid - Super Edition includes the base game along with all the DLC characters. This includes the villainous Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, fan favorite villain Scorpina, and a handful of new Power Rangers.

Not only does Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid - Super Edition include all of the new characters released in the first three seasons of content, but it also includes the latest DLC characters as well. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid's Street Fighter pack is also available in the Super Edition, giving players the chance to play as Power Ranger versions of Chun-Li and Ryu.

While Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid fans may be most interested in the DLC characters, it's worth pointing out that the Super Edition comes with four bonus skins as well. This includes a helmetless version of the Crimson Hawk Ranger Skin (aka the Ryu skin), a new version of Tommy's Green Ranger outfit dubbed V2, the Evo 2 skin for Lord Drakkon, and finally, a Kimberly Pink Ranger skin.

One of the main criticisms levied at Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid at the time of its release was its general lack of content, so the Super Edition should go a long way in making it feel like a more fully-featured experience. It will be interesting to see if nWay develops even more content for the game after the Super Edition launches, or if it's ready to move on to a new project, perhaps a Battle for the Grid sequel of some description.

In the meantime, there should be plenty for Power Rangers fans to look forward to in the months and years ahead. Besides new episodes of the TV show, a Power Rangers movie reboot is also in the works.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
