After a short delay, Valve is gearing up to release Portal 2 in mid April and gamers' anticipation for the title is reaching an all time high. We have the details on the full list of Portal 2 achievements to help pass the time.
The original Portal was a huge hit and one of the highlights of Valve's Orange Box. Since then the game has become something of a cult classic among the underground geek community, thanks to its unique style, application of theoretical physics and exhilarating gameplay. Oh, and Jonathan Coulton’s contribution may have helped a little.
Portal 2 picks up several hundred years after the original, and begins with Chell awakening from stasis. GLaDOS, the psychotic computer administrator of the first title immediately gets busy doing what she does best.
All the most memorable skills and effects from the first Portal are returning, as well as new elements like an added co-op mode and propulsion/repulsion gels.
Portal 2’s full achievement list is posted below along with how much each achievement is worth. It may have very minor spoilers, but is fun to look through and is guaranteed to put fans in the mood for Portal 2.

It is hard to gauge the difficulty of these achievements without seeing the puzzles, but there is no doubt that this game packs charm. Several of the achievements are laced with the developers' offbeat sense of humor, with “Schrodinger's Catch” and “Friends List With Benefits” being our favorites.
The achievements focus heavily upon the new co-op mode, but also offer plenty of challenges for those playing alone. It will be interesting to see if Portal 2 lives up to its predecessor. Based on this small peek at the game via the achievement list, it seems like they are on the right track.
