Explaining, she says that if someone were to message her out of the blue with anything inappropriate, she's "probably not going to date them."
She continued making the point that if someone were to only date a streamer based on their popularity and online persona instead of who they are, it likely wouldn't work out. For her, it seems like if a potential partner were to know her work, it should not be the sole reason for their attraction. Although Pokimane doesn't often speak publically about her dating life, based on her stream, it seems as if she'd be open to the possibility of dating a fan if the circumstances were right.

There are plenty of other examples of streamers and other celebrities entering relationships with fans, but as Pokimane pointed out, it all depends on the people and how they met.
