In every Pokemon game, picking between the three starters is the first major choice a player starts with. This often sets the player’s path, especially when it comes to facing off with their rival in every Pokemon title. Starter Pokemon play a really significant role in the games, which is why the community seems to enjoy producing fan art of them. Recently, a Pokemon fan made artwork that shows what the three original starters from the Kanto region would look like if they were possessed by Marvel's Venom Symbiote.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are the first three starters in the Pokemon video games, and this seems to have made them very popular within the fanbase. The Pokemon Company also continues to bring them back in a lot of the new games in the franchise such as Pokemon Sword and Shield. So their presence can still be felt by the community even though a new generation of Pokemon is being introduced.
On Reddit, user scrazyone1 shared their vision of what Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle would look like if the Venom Symbiote took control of their body. Though each of the Pokemon’s physical shape is retained, their signature colors have been changed to reflect Venom’s dark color scheme. Each of the Kanto Pokemon starters also have the Marvel character’s iconic long tongue, white Venom logo on their chest, and the crazy eyes that Venom is known for. The image is rendered in 3D, giving the starters an intense and realistic look that community members from both fandoms will likely appreciate.

Unfortunately, the artist did not specify if they used a specific program or process to render their 3D image of the three starter Pokemon. However, the commenters seemed to appreciate their version of the Pokemon. One even specifically mentioned the Grass type starter Bulbasaur, hoping that the Venom version would have a venus fly trap on their back when they reach their final evolution. Others also gave their suggestions on the other Pokemon they would like to see their Venom versions of, namely Shellder, Lickitung, and Arbok.
Upon checking their profile, this does not seem like the first time scrazyone1 posted their 3D fan art of Pokemon. They have previously shared their 3D render of iconic Electric type Pikachu, as well as other characters in their own art collection. Hopefully they continue to make Pokemon artwork, especially since they make such realistic Venom renditions of the pocket creatures.
