While the sea of MOBA games continues to expand, many new titles are still finding ways to pique the interest of fans, such as Pokemon Unite. Pokemon Unite's release date is rapidly approaching tomorrow for US fans, and many wonder who they should main.
Of the list of playable characters in Pokemon Unite, there are many different Pokemon for different roles, providing options for many different playstyles and team matchups. Additionally, there are five different Pokemon types: All-Rounders, Attackers, Defenders, Supporters, and Speedsters.
Typically, gamers should grow accustomed to at least one character from each role. However, for Pokemon Unite fans who quickly want to unlock the best character for their preferred playstyle, here is a list of the best characters from each role.
Attacker
At the top of the tier list for attackers is none other than the Pokemon mascot Pikachu. Pikachu can not only attack its enemies from a safe distance, but it can also possibly leave enemy Pokemon paralyzed. Another good Attacker option for players is Venusaur. While Venusaur is considered harder to master, it can also deal a huge amount of damage from a safe distance.
Speedster
Out of all the Speedster Pokemon, Talonflame reigns supreme overall. Talonflame's moves have incredible maneuverability capabilities and it can even fly over obstacles, making it harder for enemies to hit.
All-Rounder
For All-Rounder Pokemon, Machamp is seen as one of the better options out of the list. Machamp deals a lot of damage from close up, and its Barrage Blow attack is not something to take lightly.
Defender
Among the Defender Pokemon, Crustle and Snorlax are seen as the top options. Crustle can stop players' movements with its attacks and can even prevent other enemies from attacking it with its Unite move. Snorlax is a massive tank Pokemon that can sustain a huge amount of damage and even prevent its allies from being harmed.
Supporter
Lastly, for players who prefer a healer role in games, Mr. Mime is one of the better options out of the list. This is because Mr. Mime can not only affect the enemy's movements, but it can also confuse them and put up defensive barriers.
