Pokemon Unite players have been working their way through the Beginner's Challenge since the game launched, and all seven days of challenges are finally available to tackle. One of the challenges required to complete Day 7 and get Crustle as a free playable Pokemon is to complete all other challenges before it, so players that thought they could ignore the rest are out of luck. One of the hardest challenges to complete from the previous six days is in Day 6, as it requires players to reach Trainer Level 13. This can take quite a while, but with the right strategy, players can get there in no time.

First, it's important to establish what Trainer Level is in Pokemon Unite and how to get it. While on the main menu, look at the upper left-hand corner of the screen to see the current Trainer Level, and press "R" to open the Trainer Level menu. In order to level up, players need to earn Battle Points from playing games online, and reach new milestones as they go. To reach Level 13, players need a total of 8,300 Battle Points.

The amount of battle points earned from a match depends on a multitude of factors, but the primary ones are whether or not the player's team won, which kind of battle it was, and if the player used a Pokemon with the Beginner Bonus. Obviously, winning awards more Battle Points than losing, but not by much. Players should definitely always play out a match to its end as they will still be rewarded even if they lose.

How to get bonus BP

In terms of the different types of battles, Quick Battles reward the least experience but are the fastest. Standard Unite battles award more than Quick Battles but take a full 10 minutes, and Ranked Unite Battles award the most Battle Points. It's worth noting that these are still only 10 minutes, so these are the best option. Finally, during character selection, it helps to always pick a character with the Beginner Bonus mark (blue arrows pointing up) on the bottom left hand corner of its card, as shown in the picture above. This will reward the player with an additional 50 Battle Points at the end of the match and encourages players to try new Pokemon out.

One last thing players should consider is to purchase a Battle Point Boost Card. This item can be found in the Aeos Emporium under the items menu and costs 400 Aeos Tickets or 40 Aeos Gems for a 7 Day boost. This will double the amount of Battle Points the player gets from matches, maximizing their efficiency. Unless they've bought a lot of other items, the player should have enough Aeos Tickets from completing other objectives. With a Battle Point Boost Card, playing repeated Ranked Matches, using Beginner Bonus Pokemon, and trying hard to win, players shouldn't have much trouble reaching Trainer Level 13.
