Pokemon Unite is the latest spin-off of the long-running Pokemon franchise, with this being the franchise's first foray into the MOBA genre. Pokemon Unite has launched only recently, and it is quickly gaining steam as a favorite among fans, with the game managing to have incredible viewership on Twitch, too. The launch of Pokemon Unite does come with a few glitches, some of them creepier than others.

The franchise's history with glitches is nothing surprising. After all, there have been glitches in many previous Pokemon games as well, like the flying Snorlax glitch from Pokemon Sword and Shield. The glitches in Pokemon Unite seem a bit more widespread than usual, though, with many players reporting various graphical issues with the game.

Since Pokemon Unite is a brand-new ambitious multiplayer title, there's bound to be glitches popping out now and again. Fans have been experiencing these glitches during the post-match celebration screen. In one instance, they are treated to textures bugging out. Another Pokemon Unite glitch shows faceless trainers when players enter the victory screen. Other glitches include Pokemon and other characters with incorrect textures, such as the trainer and their Charizard sporting Wigglytuff's color scheme.

Aside from the creepy faceless trainers, the one that has been amusing fans the most is if the player is using a Machamp. Machamp is a strong four-armed Pokemon with muscles stacked on top of muscles, who wears nothing but a speedo and championship belt. The glitch causes the player's Machamp to face both forwards and backwards at the same time during the victory idle, but also causes them to shed their speedo. This leaves them with the sight of Machamp's bare behind, well-toned from its time making workout videos.

It doesn't seem that these glitches are harmful or seriously game-breaking in any way, which is good as the Pokemon franchise also has a history with game-breaking glitches. There has been the report of a different glitch that causes a black screen to appear when players exit a match after a connection error, but nothing has been reported by users to be causing their Switches to break or anything more serious like that. Despite these glitches, the launch of Pokemon Unite is proving to be quite successful and it seems many fans are enjoying the series' leap into the MOBA genre.

Pokemon Unite is available now for Switch and for mobile at a future date.
