The Attacker role in MOBA games is all about unleashing huge hits that ideally take down foes. In Pokemon Unite, players have a choice between quite a few Attackers, as this is the group with the most pokemon so far in the popular multiplayer game.

One of the potentially deadliest pocket monsters that one can select is Gardevoir, as their ranged Psychic and Fairy-type moves can lay waste to entire opposing teams from a distance, almost like a living piece of artillery. There are some builds that gamers can specialize in while playing as Gardevoir to maximize their damage output if they pair their moves accordingly.

Tips On How To Use The Gardevoir High DPS Build Effectively

At level 6, players will be able to turn Teleport into Psyshock, and, at level 8, Gardevoir can replace Confusion with Psychic. After this point, this build can become a powerful glass cannon by being able to chain multiple strong Psychic-type moves together for high burst damage.

Psyshock is a bit tricky to use optimally, though, players should always try to land all 3 strikes of this move, as each time one hits its mark, the cooldown of this move decreases. If all are able to damage foes, the cooldown essentially gets cut in half, going from 10 seconds to about 4 to 5 seconds. This means that in just a few more basic attacks, players can unleash Psyshock again. In protracted conflicts, constantly raining down little purple orbs can decimate enemy HP and grant melee-oriented allies excellent advantages.

While the other move of this set, Psychic, is not as powerful or capable of reduced cooldown feats, it is a solid damage-dealing move that can go through walls and has a generous range, meaning that Gardevoir players can use Psychic to pretty much snipe adversaries from the cover of tall grass or finish off fleeing targets with ease.

Tips On How To Use The Gardevoir Trapper Build Effectively

As the name implies, this build is more about hindering foes as well as damaging them as opposed to trying to unleash frequent high DPS sustained assaults. At level 6, players can learn Future Sight in place of Teleport before learning Moonblast at level 8 after swapping out Confusion.

Effective use of Moonblast will be crucial for this build, as it will allow Gardevoir to much more easily hit foes with Future Sight. Arguably the best kind of move for a ranged Attacker, when the player uses Moonblast, they move away from the target while launching a cone of Fairy-type energy that stuns the nearest enemy struck for a moment. In addition to being able to combo this damage-dealing stun attack with Future Sight, Moonblast can be great in a pinch to briefly lock down a target so that they cannot enter a goal zone for a crucial split second in this fast-paced game.

Future Sight hits hard but only once, unlike the triple consecutive strikes of Psyshock. However, the heavy single-hit damage of Future Sight is comparable in overall damage to landing all 3 blows of Psyshock, though, because of the delay on this predictive attack, it is hard to aim. The more nimble foes will be especially tricky to strike, even if Gardevoir leads their shots perfectly, so until learning Moonblast at level 8, it will be best to use Future Sight from cover. Though, once Moonblast is learned, players can stun opponents and then unleash Future Sight on them for a guaranteed hit. Keep in mind that Moonblast's stunning effect does not last very long, so players intending to use this build should use Future Sight immediately after hitting a foe with Moonblast to make sure that the damaging portion of Future Sight occurs before the opponent can move again.

Other General Tips For Using Gardevoir

Gardevoir's Unite Move - Fairy Singularity

This ultimate move is a mighty one that sucks in foes while dealing damage to them before throwing them violently when the attack ends. Fairy Singularity is meant to be a finishing move that can take down multiple foes, so be sure to use it when one wants to end an assault victoriously or to change the tide of battle with a maelstrom of energy.

Tips For Playing As Ralts & Kirlia

When starting a battle, players using Gardevoir should always select Confusion before learning Teleport, as Confusion is the option that will allow one to unleash the most damage. This means that players will be able to take down both wild pokemon and enemy trainer pokemon easier in the early stages of a match.
