Depending on one's preferences, there will be a different ideal build concerning the Defender Mamoswine in Pokemon Unite. Players can choose to either become a battlefield bully by pushing opponents around or they can focus on stunning targets with high-damage assaults.

The bulky Mamoswine is a force to be reckoned with and can lock down a position by itself against most singular threats--sometimes even winning one-on-two exchanges if they are in a friendly goal zone and are receiving passive healing. To become the best with this pocket monster in Pokemon Unite, one will have to learn how to become a veritable bulldozer.

How To Use The Mamoswine Pusher Build Effectively

This build, as the name implies, is all about pushing foes around. As area denial and throws are important to this build, items that can increase maneuverability and mobility can be preferable over items that will increase damage or longevity. Players will always want to consider their starting and ending positions before and after each move.

Ice Fang will allow Mamoswine to pick up a target for a couple of seconds while freezing them before slamming them hard onto the ground for decent damage. This hindering move is great for tying up an opponent for a short duration, hurting them, and also letting allies lay into the foe's HP bar. Tossing the target a little way away can also be great to force them out of an enemy goal zone while allies score.

This set's other move, High Horsepower, aims to perform a similar function as Ice Fang, though over a greater range and without tying up Mamoswine as well as the target. This attack is a dash with very generous range for a Defender move and hits, as well as shoves, all enemies in a linear path before the player. It's great to clear a stretch of space, though, it will also stun targets for a couple of seconds. It is worth noting that High Horsepower deals more damage to frozen targets, so prioritize enemies afflicted by this status condition first to unleash huge hits.

How To Use The Mamoswine Stun Build Effectively

Unlike the other build mentioned, this one aims to delay and hurt enemies as much as possible without needing to worry so much about positioning. As such, focusing on dealing more damage and increasing longevity will benefit the most here. The goal with the Mamoswine Stun Build is to lockdown a target and unleash severe strikes on them.

The first move that will help the player do this is Icicle Crash, which will rain down sharp pieces of ice to hurt all foes in a small circular area. However, after a couple of seconds of this, a giant icicle will drop onto the enemies within this attack's area of effect, dealing a solid amount of damage and freezing them upon shattering. The combination of the initial icicle rain slowing those it hits as well as the big icicle outright freezing them for a few seconds can crowd control multiple hostiles at once.

With Earthquake, players can body slam enemies from a distance to both deal great damage as well as stun them briefly. In addition to performing its main functions, Earthquake's attack pattern can actually be used defensively for quick escapes, as the jumping arc it makes Mamoswine perform can clear short walls. If players want to shake things up a bit, Earthquake can potentially be swapped out for High Horsepower, as the latter move can shatter enemies frozen by Icicle Crash for a deadly combo.
