One of the creepiest new Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon was Mimikyu. A ghost/fairy-type Pokemon, Mimikyu's appearance is said to cause illness, and so it dresses itself up as Pikachu to try to boost its popularity and make friends. If Mimikyu wasn't already creepy enough, the upcoming Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon find a way to make the creature even more disturbing.

As revealed in a new trailer, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will add a new Z-Move for Mimikyu that is rather unsettling. Mimikyu's Z-Move is called Let's Snuggle Forever, and it is a fairy-type move capable of dealing a devastating amount of damage. To drive this point home, the Pokemon used as Mimikyu's victim in its Z-Move showcase is Tyranitar, known to be one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game.

Mimikyu's Let's Snuggle Forever Z-Move is creepy because of its name alone, but the actual move itself is creepy as well. Mimikyu traps whatever Pokemon it's fighting inside of its homemade Pikachu costume to deal damage, exposing that Pokemon to its true ghostly form in the process. Mimikyu's Let's Snuggle Forever Z-Move is creepy, but ironically, it will likely make the "unpopular" Pokemon that much more popular. Fans have taken to Mimikyu since the Pokemon was first revealed, thanks to its cuteness and unique backstory that help it stick out in the minds of Pokemon trainers.

Mimikyu's popularity has been recognized by The Pokemon Company, with the creature used in Pokemon Sun and Moon merchandise and showcased in spinoff games like Pokemon GO. For Pokemon GO's most recent Halloween event, players were gifted with a free Mimikyu hat, despite the fact that the seventh generation Sun and Moon Pokemon are likely years away from being added to the augmented reality game.

It's clear that Mimikyu has been one of the standout Pokemon from the Sun and Moon generation of games, and so it makes sense to give it a new Z-Move for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Luckily, fans won't have to wait too much longer to see the move in action, as the new games are set to release next week.

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will launch on November 17th, exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
