Pokemon fans have a lot of different ways to show their love for the franchise, and this includes various types of art, such as paintings and figures. Those who love the Pokemon series have shown their creativity over the years by crafting amazing pieces honoring some of the most popular video games to release.

One form of artwork that Pokemon fans enjoy are tattoos. Many of those who love the RPGs get ink jobs featuring their favorite pocket monsters, permanently engraving their love for the games on their skin. It helps show the dedication that many players have for Pokemon and showcases an appreciation for the franchise that they can show off wherever they go.

A Redditor known as fairytaleblue posted an image of a tattoo that they got done on their arm, which features the Water-Type Pokemon Vaporeon and Staryu together in an underwater setting. Vaporeon stands front and center of the tattoo surrounded by different types of coral. In the bottom right a Staryu can be seen laying in the sand, fitting in with the rest of its surroundings. The work makes amazing use of beautiful colors that include the different shades of blue composing Vaporeon.

The tattoo that fairytaleblue had done has garnered a number of fans. Many have called the piece amazing while one commenter stated that they love the bright shades of blue. One user brought up the fact that it must have hurt to get such a detailed tattoo done, to which fairytaleblue replied that their arm was getting tender at around the three-hour mark. A fan called the work adorable and shared that they were getting the Pokemon Espeon inked on their leg soon. The tattoo is incredibly beautiful and is a nice way to show love to one of the most storied video game series of all time.

Fairytaleblue is not the only one who's gotten an impressive tattoo of Game Freak's pocket monsters. A Reddit user going by the name ExplanationGreen posted a picture of the sleeve that they had done, which features a number of Ghost-Type Pokemon such as Gengar, Mimikyu, Bannette, Mismagius, and Aegislash. A lot of detail went into the tattoo, including a good amount of shading that helps make all the pocket monsters pop. ExplanationGreen did mention that someone called them a child for getting the ink done, implying that the RPG series is only for children. Regardless, the piece is incredible, showing a lot of dedication to the franchise that many gamers grew up with and still enjoy as adults.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release on November 18 for the Nintendo Switch.
