A new leak claiming to have information on the next Nintendo Direct has also stated that it will feature new information for Pokemon Sword and Shield, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. According to said leak, the next Nintendo Direct will fall on November 13, with the latter portion reportedly focuses on multiplayer, crafting, and various upgrades in Animal Crossing. The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate portion will see a Minecraft DLC announced, Crash Bandicoot confirmed as the next DLC character, and Ryu Hyubasa teased for the second Fighters Pass. But given the Direct's proximity to Pokemon Sword and Shield's release date, that may the most eye-catching for fans.

Assuming this leak is accurate, the Direct will take place 2 days before the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield, and as such, will feature that game more than the others. It states that this section will begin by revealing the "final evolutions" of Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey, which is suspicious in of itself. The description of the evolutions fall in line with other rumors and leaks, but the second evolution hasn't been revealed yet. Of course, there's quite some time before November 13, meaning there's time for the middle evolution to be revealed with a few weeks before the final evolution.

It also describes two more new Galarian pokemon that will be exclusive to specific versions of Pokemon Sword and Shield. The first is a Ghost/Water-type based around the idea of a Ghost Ship, and the other is a Fire/Grass-type Goat pokemon that has a pan flute. The Pokemon session will end with the reveal of a Space Dolphin Pokemon that is said to be a legendary Pokemon of unknown type.

As aforementioned, this leak has a few questionable details and should be taken with a major grain of salt. A Space Dolphin Pokemon sounds out there, though it's admittedly not impossible. The final evolution bit could have been a typo, or it could have been due to a forthcoming reveal of the next evolution. And the date of November 13 is suspiciously close to November 15, which could be that Nintendo is wanting to hold on to these major reveals until just before release.

The reliability of this leak will be pending upon confirmation of the Nintendo Direct date, the middle evolution of the Pokemon Sword and Shield starters being revealed soon, or if it's dismissed by Nintendo in the coming days. It's within a realm of possibility to be all true, but we wouldn't hold our breath.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield release November 15 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
