Recently, Pokemon Sword and Shield revealed its expansion pass which consists of The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra DLC. Each will bring forth a new chapter in the game, complete with new Pokemon, new stories, and more. Those excited for the DLC do have a wait, though, as the first one isn't set to launch until June 2020, but that doesn't mean players cannot treat themselves right now.

Pokemon Sword and Shield has had a steady stream of Mystery Gift Code available since launch. Some have been regional one-offs, whereas others have lasted for quite some time. These codes range from everything including apparel and Poke balls to Battle Points and more. Therefore, anyone who hasn't claimed as many codes as they want may be looking for them all.

First, it's worth mentioning that using Mystery Gift codes are rather simple. Players just need to open their menu, navigate to their Mystery Gift Option, and choose "Get with Code/Password." Enter the below code, and it's that simple. Pokemon Sword and Shield players should note that every code can only be redeemed once, so if it's been done before, it won't work now.

  • 0KUGAFUKA1B0RU - Love Ball, Friend Ball, Dream Ball (January 15 *EXPIRES SOON*)
  • K0UN1NMASC0T - Level Ball, Moon Ball, Fast Ball (January 15 *EXPIRES SOON*)
  • 1YAHAYA - Heavy Ball, Lure Ball, Beast Ball (January 15 *EXPIRES SOON*)
  • 0T0SH1DAMA - 10 Dive Balls (January 30)
  • G1GANTAMAX - 20 BP (January 30)
  • PRESENT - 10 Luxury Balls (January 30)
  • AREAS1LVESTRE - 10 Premier Balls (February 27)
  • KAMPFTEAM - 20 BP (February 28)
  • GALAR - 1 Bottle Cap (February 28)

As seen here, these codes are rather interesting and give pretty decent gifts for free. The first three codes give players unique Pokeballs that may want to save up on, but Apricots are confirmed to return in Pokemon Sword and Shield's Isle of Armor DLC. This means that players will be able to craft their own balls sooner than later, which these codes may have been some sort of tease for. The remainder of the gifts are rather self-explanatory, except for the Bottle Cap.

The Bottle Cap is an interesting item, as it maxes out one of the Pokemon's IV stats. In other words, it's helpful in getting the very best out of Pokemon. As such, and with the other gifts, Pokemon Sword and Shield fans should act quick to pick these all up.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
