This list is comprised of ten brand new Pokémon that have cool designs, great stats or are just simply too good to live without. We will also let you know of any important details related to the Pokémon such as typing or abilities. There will be no story spoilers so read away.

10 Wooloo

Wooloo was one of the first Pokémon revealed to us in the early promotions of Sword and Shield. The Pokémon is also extremely prevalent in the opening of the game. Wooloo's fluffy body and cute complexion make it an adorable pick for this list.

Wooloo's wool is extremely useful for those who make clothes out of it and the Pokémon itself. According to the Sword Pokédex, Wooloo is capable of falling from great heights without injury because of its wool. Furthermore, the clothes made of Wooloo's wool are very strong.

9 Morpeko

Some of us have never related to a Pokémon more than Morpeko. This Pokémon is electric and dark but it only has one of those types depending on the state it is in. Morpeko is known as the "two-sided Pokémon."

Morpeko's standard form is Full Belly mode. However, when the Pokémon becomes hungry, it transforms into the dark type. The Pokémon has to constantly stuff seeds into its pockets so it can satisfy its hunger later. The seeds are electrically roasted so they are always tasty.

8 Yamper

Yamper, "the puppy Pokémon," is an adorable electric corgi. This was another Pokémon we were introduced to early on in marketing. Yamper has an adorable heart or peach shape on its butt which gives it the greatest doggo look of all time.

This Pokémon does evolve into a good boy, but Yamper is significantly cuter. This corgi inspired Pokémon has an excellent ability called ball fetch. Yamper will go and collect balls that were broken out of by wild Pokémon. This ability is great when trying to save pokéballs!

7 Corviknight

Corviknight is a spooky-looking Pokémon with a great Galar job. The Pokémon is used for taxis all over the region. In fact, they are the way players can fast travel throughout the map. Plus, the Pokémon is extremely smart.

Corviknight made its debut early on in marketing. At first glance, the Pokémon is very intimidating and it should be because it is the king of the skies in Galar. Many believed the Pokémon to be flying and dark. However, the Pokémon is flying and steel. Be sure to catch a Rookidee early on to add Corviknight to your team later.

6 Flapple

Have you ever seen a flying apple? Well, Flapple is exactly that. This Pokémon evolves from Applin. Applin actually has two evolution routes players could choose from. If an Applin eats a tart apple then it becomes a Flapple.

Flapple is a grass and dragon-type Pokémon capable of causing chemical burns. It stores acid in its cheeks which allows it to do so. Even when Flapple has evolved, it is still capable of shaping itself back into an apple via its skin. This Pokémon is adorable and unique.

5 Toxtricity

This Pokémon is one of the most unique Pokémon on this list because it is the first of its kind. Toxtricity is the first poison and electric type Pokémon. This Pokémon evolves from Toxel who has an adorable diaper look.

Toxtricity has two evolution forms that are based on its nature. The Amped Toxtricity form is when the Pokémon reaches level 30 with an amped nature. The Low-Key form is reached by getting to level 30 with a low key nature. These natures are defined elsewhere so you may have to do some research on how to obtain each.

4 Grimmsnarl

This Pokémon is one of the most bizarre of this generation. The look and the story behind its evolution line give it a dark essence. Grimmsnarl looks as if the Green Goblin and a hairy elf had a child. The Pokémon is covered in hair which hides its massive muscles.

The hair actually increases its own strength so much that it can overcome Machamp. This is a seriously scary-looking Pokémon. Grimmsnarl's hairs act as tentacles so it has complete control over it. The Pokémon's two pre-evolutions are also something to look at.

3 Dragapult

We get a new addition to the dragon and ghost-type Pokémon. Dragapult is the final evolution line of Dreepy. Its final evolution resembles horns like a jet engine. Inside the horns, Dreepys reside and the Pokémon uses them similar to missiles.

Dragapult is known as the "stealth Pokémon," which makes sense with the ghost typing and jet design. Trainers will need to level up their Dreepy very high because they cannot evolve into Dragapult until level 60. He also has an evolution before it so you will need to work hard toward it.

2 Sirfetch'd

Farfetch'd has not received a change in a long time and we finally get to see the little leak carrier get an evolution. Sword trainers are the only ones who have access to this Pokémon naturally. Shield players will need to trade for him.

Sirfetch'd gets a beefier leak and a shield to accompany. This Pokémon is a fighting type like its predecessor. The only way to evolve the Farfetch'd is to get three critical hits in one battle. Once the Pokémon's leak has withered, it will retire.

1 Rillaboom

The debate around start Pokémon is always heated. However, this year it seems Game Freak went lackluster on the final evolutions. Rillaboom, the grass type, is arguably the best-designed evolution of the rest.

Rillaboom starts from Grookey, who has a way with beating surfaces with sticks. Rillaboom takes the activity even further with two drum sticks and a stump for a drum. This Pokémon also features long, grassy hair. Rillaboom beats his fellow starts out of the competition.
