It's worth mentioning that there are new two features in Pokemon Sword and Shield: Dynamax and Gigantamax. All Pokemon can be Dynamaxed, which is essentially where it becomes a large version of itself, and there are even raids tied to wild Dynamaxed Pokemon. Pokemon Sword and Shield Gigantamax forms are rarer, come with special moves, and look noticeably different (much like the aforementioned G-Max Alcremie). Right now, only Drednaw, Corviknight, and Alcremie are Galar Pokemon confirmed to have this special form, with more likely to be confirmed by launch.

Beyond the new features, more Galar Pokemon will also likely be revealed in the build-up to Pokemon Sword and Shield's release, though there is currently no indication as to how many new Pokemon there will be. This article will be updated to reflect these new Pokemon, so be sure to stay tuned for more!

Pokemon Sword and Shield will launch on November 15, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
