Early details on June's upcoming Legendary Pokemon distribution event for Pokemon Sun, Pokemon Moon, Pokemon Ultra Sun, and Pokemon Ultra Moon have been made available. And it may be the most exciting Legendary Pokemon distribution event yet. June's free Pokemon will be none other than multi-formed Order Pokemon Zygarde - and its shiny, too. The only catch is that players will have to visit their local GameStop in order to pick up the special Zygarde.

According to Nintendo, the Legendary Pokemon distribution event for Shiny Zygarde will begin on June 1 and run through June 24. Once the event begins, players can travel to their local GameStop and request a Shiny Zygarde code from the store's staff. No purchase is necessary.

After getting a code, open up any Pokemon Sun or Moon title and go to the Mystery Gift tab in the main menu. From there, select Receive Gift, followed by Get with Code/Password, and then enter the code. Players can then pick up their Pokemon from the delivery NPC in any Pokemon Center.

Don't wait too long to visit a GameStop and pick up a code, as once the event ends, stores will no longer hand them out. But if a player picks up a code during the event they're free to redeem it anytime they please, even after the event ends. Each code only works once, so use them wisely.

As with prior Legendary Pokemon distributions throughout 2018, Shiny Zygarde will have a different move-set depending on your game. Both Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will feature a level 60 Shiny Zygarde with Land's Wrath, Glare, Safeguard and Dragon's Breath. Ultra Moon and Ultra Sun owners will get a level 100 Shiny Zygarde with Thousand Arrows, Outrage, Extreme Speed and Dragon Dance, that's also holding a Gold Bottle Cap exchangeable with IV trainer Mr. Hyper.

Coinciding with the start of the Shiny Zygarde Legendary Pokemon distribution event, a special edition Pokemon TCG product will also launch. The Pokemon TCG: Shiny Zygarde-GX box will feature an exclusive foil promo card for Shiny Zygarde-GX, an over-sized version for collecting, plus four booster packs.

For the time being, Pokemon Sun and Moon players still have the opportunity to participate in May's Legendary Pokemon distribution. Yveltal and Xerneas will be available through May 27. Next on the schedule is a July Tornadus or Thundurus distribution event and the Year of Legendary Pokemon goes on from there.

Pokemon Sun, Pokemon Moon, Pokemon Ultra Sun, and Pokemon Ultra Moon are all available now exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
