Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Sprigatito is getting its own line of exclusive merchandise, with items for both humans and cats alike. While plenty of Pokemon, including those featured in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have had cute or creative items sold based on their designs, pet toys are a bit rarer of a find.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced Sprigatito as the game's Grass starter, and gained a number of fans after it was unveiled. Unfortunately, while fans were hoping it wouldn't happen, Sprigatito becomes bipedal in its evolutions. Despite that, Sprigatito was voted as the most-picked starter in a Japanese poll, and further polls have shown that its final evolution, Meowscarada, is nonetheless extremely popular.

Now, Pokemon Center Japan is releasing a "Meow! Meow! Meow!" collection with a multitude of designs primarily based off of Sprigatito. Other feline Pokemon make an appearance as well, including Pokemon Sun and Moon starter Litten, Delcatty, and Glameow. The merchandise includes more common items, like tableware, keychains, slippers, towels, and more. However, the items that will likely be very interesting to cat owners include a Snorlax cushion, a Magikarp kick toy, and a costume hat that looks like Sprigatito's head. The hat is designed to wrap around the cat's chin with velcro, so it can be taken off easily if needed. For the perfect item for both a cat and their owner, the collection also includes a hoodie with a built-in front pocket designed to be comfortable for a cat to snuggle into.

The new products will be released in Japanese Pokemon Centers starting on February 22, and like with most Pokemon merchandise, supplies likely won't last long. However, for international fans, the collection will also be made available on Amazon Japan, which will ship internationally. While prices of the items vary, the collection is pretty affordable overall, with the aforementioned hoodie being the most expensive item at about $65 USD.

Every generation introduces a bunch of new favorite Pokemon to the franchise, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are no different. The game has had a mixed reception overall, as many players were pleased with the new additions to the title and the ability to play with friends or freely explore, but simultaneously displeased with the number of glitches and frame rate drops. Even so, fans have been creating art and clamoring for collectibles based off the new pocket monsters, so this set is likely to be a hit among Sprigatito fans.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
