At several of the Pokemon Centers spread out across the Paldea region, players can encounter a Pokemon League rep in a nice suit that will give players rewards for battling a specific number of trainers in a certain wild area. The rep at the Pokemon Center outside Zapapico will ask players to battle against at least seven trainers in Area Three of East Province, which is the space just east of Zapapico and north/northwest of Levincia.

While there are way more than seven trainers to battle in East Province Area 3, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players can use this handy guide for quick locations of seven trainers. After battling them, players can return to the Pokemon League rep at the Pokemon Center to claim a neat reward.

The map above shows East Province Area Three in its entirety, and those seven red circles are the locations of some trainers. This should make it super easy for players to find and defeat them in battles to claim the rep's prize.

Of course, players can battle against any trainers they would like to in the area, but these seven are not far off the beaten path and should be easy to see.

What's the Reward?

PUNCHING glove item pokemon scarlet violet

For finding and defeating at least seven trainers, the rep will give players a Held Item called the Punching Glove. When this item is given to a Pokemon in the party to hold onto, it will boost the power of any punching moves, such as the popular moves like Ice Punch, Fire Punch, and Thunder Punch.

Punching Glove also prevents direct contact with targets. So if a Pokemon's ability causes ailments when a Pokemon attacks them, the gloves will stop that from happening. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players can give a Pokemon a Held Item from the menu.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
