The Pokemon Company is well known for creating an environment full of mystery, allowing its player base to theorize on the few details released to the public. Sometimes leaks can reveal big plots and new additions to the franchise, while other times, Pokemon leaks can involve riddles and mysteries. With little information revealed about the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the franchise's ninth generation, fans are chiming in with their theories on the main evolution lines of the game's three starting companions.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are set for release later this year, giving fans six-to-seven months to throw out their best ideas. Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly were introduced into the Pokemon world in early 2022 and sparked an immediate surge of theories and fan-made depictions of what their evolution lines could look like.

An interesting topic of discussion revolving around the three starters is what their secondary typing could be and how it would affect their design. Sprigatito is one of the most-talked-about starting Pokemon in recent memory, with many players hoping Sprigatito becomes a Grass/Fairy-type. With fan art sweeping up the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet subreddit, user GrekisaWrek gives their best efforts at a final evolution form from the Sprigatito line.

Given the name Reinaflor, the final evolution form of Sprigatito keeps its quadrupedalism form while appearing more intense in its facial expression. Blossoming a pair of wings inspired by the Pokemon Florges, Reinaflor is categorized as a Grass/Fairy-type, keeping its primary color green and accent color yellow while introducing the pink wings to highlight its evolution into a secondary Fairy-type.

It isn't the first time a fan has showcased their own Sprigatito evolutionary idea, and as the release of the ninth generation of Pokemon gaming gets closer to fruition, more unique designs are sure to pop up. It's also a certainty that between now and the game's release, The Pokemon Company will reveal some new details in upcoming teaser trailers, only adding fuel to the hot-button topics.

Some of the best theories in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet game involve many ideas regarding the starting Pokemon's typing, designs, and even backstories. A common point of discussion for Sprigatito is if its evolutionary line will remain in its quadrupedalism form or if it will stand on two legs and replicate a Flamenco dancer, Spain's traditional style of dance. Quaxly, the water-type starter, has often been discussed as a possible Don Quixote-themed Pokemon, a popular character derived from a Spanish novel by Miguel de Cervantes. With Fuecoco possibly becoming a Fire/Ghost or Fire/Dragon-type, depending on what players prefer to believe is the best-suited duo-type. There's no shortage of theories available, and things will only heat up until the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is official later this year.
