After multiple leaks revealing several new pocket monsters from Gen 9, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet images now reveal Sprigatito's final evolution: Meowscarada, the Magician Pokemon. Today, The Pokemon Company shared the final trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which revealed Paradox Pokemon in the form of past and future Donphan for the first time since the leaks started months ago. The video was followed a few hours later by multiple leaks from players who got early copies of the game, this time sharing a plethora of new critters, including the starters' evolutions.

The first leak to surface online was that of Fuecoco's final evolution, Skeledirge, which seemed fake to some fans due to it being the only leak showing the full Pokedex sheet for it while the critter strikes a pose. However, more Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in-game pictures came after it, all showing the same style of Pokedex sheets for each new pocket monster, up to a total of ten different Pokemon. The images were shared online by a leak aggregator on Twitter that goes by the name of PearlEnthusiast, and they range from Paldean Wooper's evolution to entire new evolution lines.

Sprigatito's final evolution, Meowscarada, is the latest to join the ranks of other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet critters, including Sprigatito's middle-stage evolution, called Floragato, which was leaked not long ago. Meowscarada delves even more into the themes of magic, illusions, and thievery than its pre-evolution, and it wears a cape made of leaves and a mask that is vaguely reminiscent of Zorro as a character. Sprigatito's final evolution is allegedly Grass and Dark as far as type combinations go, and it wears their characteristics on its sleeve.

Meowscarada's pose is also similar to that of a magician walking on or off the stage, and it seems it does a trick to make a flower appear out of thin air. The main gripe fans seem to have about it is the fact that Sprigatito's evolution is a bipedal Pokemon, whereas the general consensus is that it should have remained on all fours. This is a juxtaposition compared to Fuecoco's evolution, which starts out bipedal in its base form and then evolves to stand on four legs. This is unsurprising, however, as most starter Pokemon are designed to be humanoid, and it seems that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Sprigatito is no exception.

According to the leakers, Sprigatito's Hidden Ability will be OP, to the point that many players will supposedly seek the Grass kitty's evolution in competitive battles. It's unclear what this Ability might be at this stage, but if it ties in elements of its Dark type, it could be something like Magic Guard, Prankster, Moxie, or even Speed Boost, which made Blaziken a force to be reckoned with in the past. Still, Meowscarada is not the last Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starter evolution to appear, and fans are holding their breath to see what Quaxly will look like, assuming more pictures will be shared online as the leakers and the leak aggregators get them.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
