Among the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet glitches being spotted by early adopters is one that surrounds the Pokemon battle arena with massive eyeballs that stare at the competing Pokemon. Though some Pokemon Scarlet and Violet glitches are intrusive to the gameplay, the eyeballs in this clip have merely startled the Pokemon trainer that discovered them.Twitter user Eecaruz recently shared a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet clip in which they're battling a Terastallized Wattrel with some other trainers and right from the beginning of the fight, something is wrong. Terastallizing was introduced with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and it allows certain Pokemon to change typing, while others are simply made more powerful and have an impressive animation compared to their standard forms. Each Pokemon generation has featured its own gimmicks, with Pokemon X and Y revolving around Mega Evolutions, and Pokemon Sword and Shield relying on Dynamax and Gigantamax battles, and the latest incarnation is Terastallized Pokemon in Paldea.RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Players Are Not Happy About 'PS1 Graphics'Eecaruz's clip begins with the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Terastallized battle starting with a focus on the trainers and their Pokemon before swiveling around to show the Terastallized Wattrel which has three floating eyeballs in the pink and red sky behind it. As the battle unfolds, these eyeballs are shown surrounding the entire arena including behind the competing Pokemon Fidough, Magnemite, and Crabrawler and their trainers. The floating eyeballs bob up and down in the sky to the same rhythm as the flapping of Wattrel's wings rather than remaining stationary which makes the strange moment even more terrifying for the bewildered onlookers.

Although the rainbow colors of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Terastallized battle are common to a standard encounter, the giant eyeballs are rarely experienced by Pokemon trainers. The animation of the massive eyes in the sky shares so many similarities to Wattrel, which may suggest that the bug captured by Eecaruz's video is associated with the Terastallized Pokemon. Because the clip only showed the initiation of battle, it's currently unclear if the eyeballs remained in place for the entire Terastallized encounter or if they disappeared after the Pokemon got an attack in.

While multiple fans expressed their entertainment from the bug like other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet issues that have gone viral, some Pokemon fans joked that the battle against Terastallized Wattrel was biblically accurate in reference to a viral artistic render of angels. Given how strange the moment is for a Pokemon title, some fans suggested that it belonged in a horror game instead.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
