This strange occurrence even continued as the player moved around, almost making it look as though they're scanning the surrounding area for items. Despite Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's many shortcomings, many fans have made it clear that they're enjoying their journeys around the Paldea region perhaps more than they would've imagined, considering the frame rate drops and occasional crashes. Some players have gone so far as to claim that the new titles represent their new favorites in the entire series, suggesting that while they're not up to par on the technical side of things, Game Freak is apparently doing a good job in leading the franchise down new paths in terms of gameplay.

Still, the outrage from fans over the games' poor technical quality proves that the developers still have a ways to go if they hope to bring out the best from the Pokemon series. While it's still uncertain what plans The Pokemon Company has in store for the next few years, fans urge for measures to be taken with future developments to ensure that Pokemon titles never launch in this state again.
