Many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans are noting glitches as they explore the new region of Paldea, including one player that spotted a Pokemon being thrown into the air spontaneously. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet kicked off Pokemon Gen 9, but the release includes a plethora of glitches that haven't been resolved in the day one patch.Twitter user PaulDrawsArt recently shared a clip of their Pokemon Scarlet and Violet adventure in which they're riding through the open world on their Koraidon through the South Province of Paldea. Similar to other titles in the Pokemon franchise, players can find Pokemon specific to different parts of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Paldea, with the South Province being home to Fidough, Smoliv, Jigglypuff, and more. Unlike another bug associated with riding the Legendary Pokemon that changes the trainer's stature, this one spotted by PaulDrawsArt affects the Pokemon near it instead.RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Glitch Lets Players Fight High-Level Pokemon Before Going to the SchoolPaulDrawsArt's clip begins with the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainer riding their Legendary Pokemon as they pass by one of the towns in the games and enter the second area of the South Province. The Pokemon trainer rides down the dirt road in the rain while a Jigglypuff wanders the grass nearby, but as the Koraidon gets closer, the Pokemon reacts strangely. As the Koraidon reaches the point in the patch that's parallel with the Fairy-type Pokemon, it starts flying up into the sky as the player moves the camera to watch it become a dot in the distance before completely disappearing.

The Jigglypuff in PaulDrawsArt's video flies across the sky above the nearby Pokemon Scarlet and Violet South Province town before despawning or being lost to the limited render distance of the Nintendo Switch. Because the Pokemon was visible throughout the clip, the Jigglypuff didn't seem to suffer from the pop-in being experienced by other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players.. Although the glitch highlighted by PaulDrawsArt's is just one of several Pokemon Scarlet and Violet issues being spotted, it's currently unclear if it's something that can be fixed with a future update.

While many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans expressed their entertainment at Jigglypuff's expense, others pointed to the fact that the Fairy-type Pokemon is referenced as a balloon multiple times. As some Nintendo fans referenced Jigglypuff's role in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, another player was able to mimic the experience in their copy of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which suggests that the bug can be replicated.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now for Nintendo Switch.
