Since Nintendo announced Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, fans have been creating impressive art featuring the three new starters. Art ranges from what the Pokemon would look like as sprites to cross-ups with other franchises. One such artist created their rendition of what the starters for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will look like when they are rendered in 3D.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were announced during the latest Pokemon Presents. Not much information has been released for the game, though we do know what the starter Pokemon will be. The three starters will be Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Sprigatito will be a grass-type, Fuecoco a fire-type, and Quaxly a water-type. Nintendo has only released the original artwork for the three-pocket monsters, which has spurred fans to come up with their own artwork for the trio.

One such piece imagines what the three starters will look like when transitioned to 3D. User GoddessCalamity created models for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, giving gamers a peek at what they may look like when they are finally seen in-game. It is similar to another piece that a fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet created, which shows Fuecoco in animation.

The art has garnered fans, with some commenting on how adorable the Pokemon look in 3D. While one fan admits that the artwork makes them want all three Pokemon, GoddessCalamity does admit that they are partial to Fuecoco. The piece brandishes the three starters with a cartoonish look, so it will have to be seen what they will actually look like when Nintendo shows more of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

While GoddessCalamity is imagining what Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly will look like in 3D, one gamer going by VAC7 is instead coming up with retro-style artwork for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. VAC7 created a piece that shows Fuecoco in a retro style, with the fire-type displayed similar to how Charizard was on the cover of Pokemon Red. The artwork shows the new starter with mouth agape, spitting out fire, lining up quite well with the original title's iconic artwork.

GoddessCalamity and VAC7 may be making their interpretations of the new starter trio, but some are looking ahead. A gamer by the handle Bromojumbo came up with their prediction of what Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's starting trio will look like when they reach their final forms. Bromojumbo has Sprigatito eventually become Despurrado, a grass/steel-type inspired by the bandidos of Spain. Fuecoco will evolve into Picolebre, a fire/fairy-type that takes inspiration from a Spanish mythological creature called the El Cuelebre. Finally, Quaxly will turn into Surgull, a water/fighting-type inspired by Spanish conquistadors. Bromojumbo's art has become quite popular, with over 70,000 likes, and 9,000 retweets. Along with GoddessCalamity and VAC7's artwork, it is showing that fans have a significant interest in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's three starters, and the popularity that they are gaining.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release in late 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
