A total of 922 Pokemon have been introduced till now, the latest being Girafarig's evolution Farigiraf, who was introduced last week.

With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's release date approaching soon, the internet is flooded with fan art featuring the newly introduced Pokemon of Gen 9. Fan art featuring the legendary Koraidon and Miraidon, and the three starter Pokemon of the 9th generation, is getting quite popular. Recently, a fan created pixel art featuring Ceruledge, who was introduced back in September.
Reddit user R3dd1t_D4v1d has shared an animated pixel art featuring Ceruledge, one of the recently introduced pocket monsters of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In this art piece, the original poster has recreated Ceruledge as a Gen 5 Sprite. They have managed to capture the fine details like the fire at the back of Ceruledge's head, its pale blue ears, and even its purple-tipped blades. The animated art piece also features Tepig, who is a Fire-type starter Pokemon of Gen 5, alongside Snivy and Oshawott.
In the animation, Ceruledge can be seen moving its blades, and its right blade glows at one point. The original post is being adored by the Pokemon community on Reddit. The post has managed to get more than 400 upvotes in a few days. R3dd1t_D4v1d is one of a few Pokemon lovers who like to portray the newly introduced Pokemon like Ceruledge as sprites from previous versions of the game series. Not long ago, another Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan created a Gold and Silver-style Sprite for Farigiraf and shared it on Reddit.
For those who don't know, Ceruledge is a bipedal Fire/Ghost-type Pokemon. It is primarily black in color with hints of dark blue on its limbs. Its body is protected by purplish armor, and its purple-cyan blades can be used as swords in a fight. It is one of the 17 Pokemon revealed so far for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Ceruledge is exclusive to Pokemon Violet, while Armarouge, who is a Psychic/Fire-type Pokemon, is its Pokemon Scarlet counterpart.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launch November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
