A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player has found yet another cave hidden deep within Area Zero. The cave, which requires some skillful maneuvering in order to find, is perhaps the best area in all of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for one particular thing.

Within the latest set of Pokemon games, Area Zero is home to new Paradox Pokemon such as Scream Tail, Brute Bonnet, and Iron Hands. There is one particularly well-known cave deep within Area Zero that is the only area in the games where players can obtain Roaring Moon in Pokemon Scarlet or Iron Valiant in Pokemon Violet. However, a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet player has come across a second cave within Area Zero which, despite not being home to any rare Pokemon, excels in an entirely different way.

Posting their find to Reddit, user lKANl showed users how to reach the cave, which is hidden near one of Area Zero's waterfalls. Though the only Pokemon seen in the clip is a Zweilous, commonly found throughout Paldea, and lKANl confirmed they sighted no other rare Pokemon, some members of the community shared their own experiences with the cave. Another user stated that, through the use of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet sandwich mechanic, the player can increase the chances of high-level Chansey spawning en masse within the cave.

Chansey drop an absurdly high amount of Exp. Points when fainted, so being able to find a large amount of them concentrated in a small area is always beneficial to any player looking to level up their Pokemon quickly. While the previous best area in the games for farming Chansey was outside the fairy-type Team Star base, many Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players experienced performance issues in the surrounding area due to the large amount of flowing water present nearby. This new cave not only possesses Chansey of a higher level, meaning they drop more experience upon being fainted, but also offers players a respite from the lag induced by the Team Star base.

While the latest find within Area Zero may not be home to incredibly rare Pokemon, such as Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon, it offers players an incredible source of experience grinding far superior to that of other methods. For players who need to level up certain Pokemon in a pinch, such as a Slowbro for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Cinderace Tera Raid Event, there is no better location to visit.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
