Nintendo unveiled some more official artwork for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, including fresh looks at the recently revealed gym leaders and version exclusives. With a November release date fast approaching, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have been slowly showing off more and more of what fans can expect to see when the games launch. Already, Pokemon fans have had a good look at the Paldea region, Scarlet and Violet's open world, and some of the new pocket monsters joining the franchise's ninth generation.Recently, a new trailer dropped for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, again revealing a bunch of new information to fans. The traditional villainous team was revealed in Scarlet and Violet's Team Star, a group of rebellious students causing trouble at the school the player begins their Pokemon journey in. The fight against Team Star marks just one of three stories the player can complete in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but alongside showing off the narrative paths for the games, the latest trailer also revealed some new Pokemon and gym leaders.RELATED: Nintendo Reveals New Pokemon-Themed Switch OLED ConsoleThe Pokemon coming to Scarlet and Violet are Armarouge and Ceruledge. Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic-type, while Ceruledge is a Fire/Ghost-type Pokemon. While fans got a short glimpse of the new creatures in the trailer, the official artwork for Scarlet and Violet's version exclusives shows off a more detailed look, and for nostalgic fans, these new images will likely inspire some artists to create sprite versions of Armarouge and Ceruledge.fire-psychicIt seems from Ceruledge's heavier armor around its feet and having swords for hands that there might be more of a focus on its Attack and Speed stats. Looking at Armarouge, it's clear to see that this Pokemon will be more focused on defense, but it's shoulder pauldrons can slide down its arm, acting almost as a canon, meaning it could have strong Special Attacks too. As well as offering a new look at the Pokemon revealed in the trailer, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Gym Leader was also given an official artwork.

Brassius is the Grass-type Gym Leader for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. His design certainly looks interesting compared to other Grass-type opponents. With a vine-like whip dangling from his hip, it almost seems as if the player would fight Brassius himself and not his Pokemon. Brassius, like all Gym Leaders in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, can be tackled at any point in the game, thanks to the Paldea region being completely open from near the beginning of the new games.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet release on November 18 for Nintendo Switch.
